"Are you mad at me?" Katy asks in a low tone as she follows me into the kitchen, and when I don't answer right away, she grabs my hand. I peer down at her, and her eyebrows knit together. "Sky... talk to me."
The pain on her face and the light in her beautiful eyes threaten to drive me insane. She is so gorgeous it's physically painful to look at her and know I can't give her everything the world has to offer.
I want to, though—if I weren't so damn scared of Katy breaking my heart, I would give her all of me. I want her so badly that it's taking me every ounce of self-control not to take her in my arms. Claim her lips without holding back on the emotions growing within me.
