After giving Jonatan my blood, we drag him into a bicycle tunnel that hardly anyone uses. It takes a while, but eventually, he awakens with tired, confused eyes looking around the place.
Poor guy. It seems changing into a bloodthirsty vampire isn't something he remembers, but once Sky tells him what happened, he is extremely grateful to me.
"I can't believe I attacked you..." Jonatan whispers. Guilt is heavy in his eyes when he takes my hands, squeezing them. "Please, forgive me. I know I have no business asking for it, but I would NEVER attack a human under normal circumstances."
Before I can speak, Sky cuts in with his snarky voice. "We know, but we wouldn't be in this predicament if you had drunk blood from a human. You can't live in this city and not feed. Who will you attack
