"I don't think the ride through the horror house is a good idea for your faint human heart," Sky says while I'm trying to push him forward by force. He isn't moving, though, and simply looks down at me over his shoulder. "How about we ride the Ferris wheel instead?"
"No, no Ferris wheel. And what do you mean faint human heart, huh?" I'm offended he would say such a thing and glare up at him. "I'm not easily frightened!"
"Wow."
"What?"
"There is a huge spider on your shoulder."
"Oh my god, take it away from me!" I shout at the top of my lungs and jump into Sky's arms while my heart pounds a mile per hour. My arms circle around his neck, and I bury my face into his t-shirt, right above his collarbone. "I hate spiders!"
Sky hugs me with his wings tucking around us both, but to my
