"Mom, where are we going?" Kinsley asks for the billionth time from the passenger seat. She is impatient and sulking, but before I can give her an answer, her brother joins in on the whining.
"Yeah, I want to know too!" Kit exclaims from the back. He was playing Pokémon on his switch a second ago, but now he is looking up at me with expectant eyes.
Oh geez.
I know without asking that the twins won't give up on the questioning. Looks like I have to explain. I swallow a sigh behind the steering wheel, hoping I'm not making the wrong decision.
