CHAPTER 5: The Rejected Mate

The morning sun cast long shadows across the clearing as Lily made her way to the pack house. Her training was progressing well, and she was beginning to feel more confident in her abilities. However, the tension between her and Ethan had only grown since her confrontation with him in the gym.
