"It's alright. Thanks" nodded the knight disappointed, "what do we do now?" he asked turning back to his mates and informing them that the boy was lost.
"All we can do is hope for him to be alright," said Oden, sadly.
"He will be...." added the knight behind them.
Both looked back stunned, at Sero, who was viewing the ocean outside the window. When they asked why was he that sure he simply replied looking at the bloody area where the civilians were eaten to view at that remaining them of his actions.
"Who was brave enough to get closer to a worse-looking creature and give it a blow?
I assume not many of us will be that much.
That boy is strong. He will manage it himself" was his main piece leaving behind both Haku and Oden puzzled about why was he so confident.
In safety matters, the knights blocked the damaged carriage from both sides, banning all passengers from entering as they stayed in.
The train Nero running over the sea went lifting from the water as the railway was directing it straight over black hills. The far distance a huge city came to be seen.
On entering, 30 to 50-story buildings were standing high with some still under construction.
Ground roads and railways both ran as partners.
Under the red sky, yellow lights were used to view the contrast of the surroundings in a better form.
People were walking around looking at the train passing by and some children weaved at it.
The speed of Nero decreased by half showing everything clear outside in a normal car speed.
Since the passengers abroading inside this journey were all new arrivals, everyone glued to the windows, watching the city Selan entry.
They chatted with each other about what their eyes could catch up and some exclaimed about the sight yet, everyone was waiting for the long terrible journey to end, including the three knights who stayed in the damaged carriage.
Nero entered a glass tunnel, viewing the sight of straight passage people standing, some walking with its speed going lower.
DING! DONG! bell ran in the speaker.
"May I have your attention, please?
Finally, we arrived at the station NO:1 of Selan City. Our six-hour journey has thankfully come to an end, resting at its destination.
We deeply apologize for any disturbances that occurred during the journey. Hope everyone had a good time and we wish everyone a happy and healthy life.
Please make sure you pack up all your belongings. Prepare your kinds of stuff and be prepared for a new day of your life.
Thank you so much for choosing Nero the first train in the world as your traveling service.
We wish everyone all the best. Thank you." the speaker got off.
The train released an air pressure that sounded loud deafening all ears.
This was to pass all the speed pressure that blocked the train from arriving safely to its nest.
Followed by the sound, breaks were activated, whistling the ears till finally inside a wide hall, right in front of a huge gate, the train Nero ended its journey arriving inside the station.
All doors opened, the passengers picked up their belongings, joined their family members in a proper line, and stepped out of the station.
The station staffs welcomed them with a welcome banner and smiling greetings.
As the crowd increased in the station hall, with families greeting each other, friends joining together, parents hugging their children after a long absence in tears, some burst into tears by seeing them, the hall was filled with cheers and joy for the returns and arrivals of their beloved ones.
However, as the saying goes "Every good has a bad side" just like every light has a shadow to create darkness.
At the side corner, a few people were standing gathered with their expressions of anxiety and worry. They were puzzled with fear, confused as to why didn't they find their family.
Two staff were leading their question, scratching their brows wondering what to say to each other.
"Excuse me" Their discussion got interrupted and they turned to see the three knights standing there.
"Yes?.... How can we help you? It's good to see knights on-boarding too".
These staff were so puzzled that they almost forgot to arrange their sentence. They questioned before greetings instead of greeting welcomes, conditions, and then questions.
Upon looking at the faces of the group, dark sad, worried all covered, and gloomy, the three knights instantly estimated who were these people and why were they gathered there.
Haku stepped front holding eight small bags and said "We're sorry...... they didn't make it....".
"What?!" exclaimed a man "What are you saying?!" he begged for details what was the meaning of this.
Oden explained it in short about the train being attacked by Multi verses range. He told them that it was the first time that happened this way apologizing that this wasn't in their hands.
On all the people a blanket of darkness fell.
They burst into tears, crying, weeping, some weak-hearted fainted terrifying their fellow in screams others fell on their knees out of heavy pressure of sorrow crying in silent tears.
A lady crying on her husband couldn't keep up with her sorrow, she yelled in a torn voice, "You are betrayers! You are liars!"
"Iris please stop!" held her the man to avoid the arguments in such a harsh time but, she insisted on asking,
"Tell me!
You said it!
You guys said it!
That it will be a relaxing journey!
It will be a safe one then why did you all lie?
Why aren't you people keeping the words that you make?
What are you, people?
Why did you guys come?"
"Iris! Stop it!" shouted her man but, to no vain.
She screamed at them blaming it was their fault!
Instead of using these new toys, it was better to use the old time's industries least, it would show true happiness after such a long wait!
"You guys are a curse to this city! Curse to us all!" she was shouting in tears in front of them.
However, the knights were listening in silence.
Oden spoke up saying that they can't promise everything. It's not in their hands to have control over accidents or deaths.
"We try our best to avoid it."
They never had the habit of fighting back or arguing cause they were serving them to survive the dark hours. Not make it a dark hour for them.
