"Is it possible that Lazard can be at risk?" thought Allison then he spoke, "Not much of a knowledge but, what about the Higher-ups? Don`t they have someone to guide them? It could be possible with some hope from that?" questioned the boy when hearing the crack side of Lazard.
"I don`t have enough details or values to tell you but, when you will become a member of the Knights you will get to know a world that not all humans shares. It`s kind of dark too.." replied Rade pacing on, Allison remained silent thinking about this man`s words. He sent his glance all around, viewing the huge city.
There were structure buildings with glass windows build high till the sky. Roads with 3Dlight on the floor were used for traffics instead of lifting their heads on the sky they could view on the ground. People of all sorts were walking around including, children. A view to notice here was since it was still morning specifically, red morning the crowds of men and women on the street were like a top of the noon. Children were running for schools while crossing by the two people and entering a gate. When crossed by, viewing in the opened gate, Allison saw a small building was standing with not much of an attraction, filling up with kids.
Looking on top of buildings, each head had a tunnel, puffing out white air after every thirty seconds, "Rade, what is that? he asked.
Rade looked at him, then up at where his gaze was and replied, "That`s an Air filter. It releases gases with air into the atmosphere to clean up the harmful bacteria that causes due to the sunlight. Since we are not sure about the condition of the sky non the ozone layer hence, what`s our expectation, we are calculating it a problem and solving the mystery from time to time." This made the boy smile however, one thing came to his notice,
"I don`t see animals around. No birds, cats, dogs. Are they banished from Selan thrown to the outside world to struggle on their own?"
"Nope, that`s not the case.." replied Rade smiling at a simple question like his.
He explained to him the animals are free to live here but they spend most of their time near the surroundings of the base, Perhaps, they feel safe there. When the city was building, the street animals were taken under the career of the Lazard. While the city was at level one of the building, they cleared their illness, injuries, and some effective weaves within their bodies then got them discharged into the open field. The surprising part is some rarely enter the city and then return shortly. Others don`t even try to exit the forest. They made up their home here.
"But, you all never disturbed them, huh," added Allison saying they have their sense of safety due to which they decided to stay at the zone. "This city is still under construction, right?" he looked up at cranes lifting rods and some lowering bricks. Passing by some noisy construction area, Rade replied,
"Yeah, still trying."
"At what level is this?" asked Allison.
"Level 9 soon we will make it to ten and surprise all' said eagerly the man with tight first, "Hey, wait! I forgot you aren`t tired?" he looked at him.
"Same goes for you cause you were looking for me. This could be your second round, right?" asked the same question by Allison. Both laughed as they were getting along, they answered each other they were fine and good to go.
An hour and a half later, the two people arrived on an empty road, with few houses by the side, could say by viewing their looks those were lifeless. "Here we are.." stopped Rade and Allison paused. He got his wide opened to see a huge dark forest.
The trees were extremely huge and thick like a single hundred years old tree. Forty-five meters tall with hairy head. Their color of the body wasn`t any normal type like the early ones. The body had multiple mixes of blue, purple, indigo, and white, all brushed well, together with color whereas, the bushy heads, Allison looked up asking, "Why are the tree leaves black? Hairy black? Bushy and creepy looking?"
"There`s not well sunlight around. No sunlight...No carbon dioxide which means no color.." explained Rae in short.
Upon noticing, there were thin lines on every tree`s body that passes through its circuit in yellowish golden eyes, "What is this?" asked Allison coming closer to it and touched it but, nothing happened.
"That`s an Energy Conductor," answered Rade.
"What`s that?" was the expected next question.
It was a thin copper wire or a connection that flows natural energy from the tree to the earth than from the ground all over the huge structure, aiding it in keep its nutrition and energy in balance. When asked why was this available, Rade explained to him that due to strange phenomena, nature isn`t reacting as it`s given law From one of the examples, Some trees grow bigger and bigger from time to time, eating up the other fellow`s whole life and grows nonstop. Some remain still with no growth. Others suddenly, dies into ashes with no explanation. To keep the line straight, the energy conductor absorbs the unnecessary nutrition plus, restores the energy that is required within their elective subjects. The source that`s exchanged from these trees is used in the base.
In this way, this forest named The Imperial Forest survivors every day or else who knows how much we would have a lot or how much we must have lost. It`s balanced now. "This forest.." said Rade, pacing near a tree, resting his palm on one it, stroke it smoothly, and said, "is very valuable to us. Without it, we wouldn`t have done a lot. That`s why we protect it. It took us nearly an entire three years in protecting this forest with it`s trees."
Allison smiled saying, "And that`s why it`s so remarkable. It`s clearly from the view of it. Then I guess after the Final Explosion everything mankind has to take in hand and balance it, Nothing works on their own. What a terrible place this world has become, don`t you think?" he looked at him. These words made the man smile, he said inwards,
"Man, this boy is an interesting one. He interests me from chats to chats. I kind of wonder what will he be like when he will get admitted into a knight. He`s very different from the rest of them."
"Above all," lowered the boy's smile taking the attention of Rade, "we are the fault of the trouble that`s happening. We are going to punish ourselves shortly more than ever. Mankind`s selfishness always leads them to their own demise....No one knows how that Final Explosion occurred but, from what I think one thing is for sure humans are the fault, compared to the nature, they push themselves hard just to rise above each other."
This made Rade lost his speech and he turned away saying, "Let`s continue our way, shall we?"
