Camille's condition was stable, and she was recovering well. Desmond and Mona were by her side, chatting quietly.

"Sis, you're really powerful," Desmond said, his eyes wide with admiration. "I've never seen anyone like you."

Camille smiled weakly. "Thanks, Desmond. I don't know what's going on with my powers, but I'm trying to figure it out."

Mona nodded. "We'll help you, Camille. We'll get to the bottom of this."

Just then, a nurse walked in. "Camille, the king wants to see you," she said.

Camille's eyes widened. "The king? Why?"

The nurse smiled. "He didn't say, but he seemed eager to meet with you."

Desmond stood up. "I'll go with her."

The nurse nodded. "Okay, but just Camille and one other person. The king's rules."

King Ramon’s Office

Camille and Desmond arrived at the king's office. King Ramon smiled warmly.

"Ah, Camille, it's good to see you're recovering well," he said.

Camille bowed her head. "Thank you, Your Majesty."

King Ramon nodded. "I think it's time we talked about your powers and your connection to our kingdom. Desmond, you can stay."

Camille's eyes locked on the king. "Connection? What do you mean?"

King Ramon leaned forward. "You're the female wonder, Camille. Your powers are crucial to breaking the curse that's plagued our kingdom."

Camille's eyes widened. "Curse? What curse?"

King Ramon explained the history of the curse and how it affected the kingdom. Camille listened intently, her mind racing with questions.

As they talked, Raquel walked in, his expression still serious. "Father, I have a question," he said.

King Ramon nodded. "Go ahead, son."

Raquel's eyes locked on Camille. "How do we know she's the real deal? What if she's just pretending?"

Camille's eyes flashed with anger. "I'm not pretending anything. You saw my powers yourself." And I don’t even want to be here anymore because I don’t understand what the female wonder is and the curse is this is too much to take in

Raquel's expression didn't change. "I'll be watching you, Camille. Closely."
