CHAPTER 2 : ALREADY CAUSING PROBLEM

Celine felt her stomach grumbling as she touched it , her eyes scanned the room and there wasn't anything she can eat ,

she felt sad and choose to.ignore it as she stood up ànd walked out of the room to the kitchen to get something to eat .

when Celine reached the kitchen, she was welcomed by the smell of fresh cooked food , but sadly before she could enjoy the smell and go inside the kitchen , she heard the murmurs of a conversation that was circulating inside the kitchen about her which made her pause as she listened more clearly

" Can you even believe it ? on their wedding night , The Alpha decided to go to his business than being with her ?",

Celine heard the voice and gritted her teeth in anger , remembering the voice and of course it was no other than Tessa

" I also heard he went to the pack house , saying that it is something urgent", the other maid said

the conservation made her want to run back to her room , as she stood there still as a stone ,Celine couldn't even believe that even the maids would make fun of her situation and call her names

if her mother would hear anything about what happened today , the woman would kill and and throw her body away .

her mother always have said , " that a woman who can't even control her husband is good as a dead woman without a say ",

those words rang in her mind , as the whispers continued to dig into her chest till she heard Tessa giggles loudly

That was when Celine decided to step.forward to silence the maids and remind them to knew the difference between them

The sudden, sharp sound of her hands clapping together cut through the chatter like a whip , silencing the maids as same of them froze as they saw her standing in the door way blocking their escape , some of the maids eyes widen as they looked down immediately

" that great since some of you still remember their places but still find it hard to keep their mouths shut ", she retorted a faint smile curving her lips , that kind of smile that held no mercy for the sinners " by all the means ladies don't stop on my account",

one of the maid went over and collapsed infront of Celine and bowed " my lady forgive this poor soul ",

the silence that followed after what the maid have done was deafening

" should have thought about it before running those poor mouths , which is unfortunately not easily forgiven. ", her voice was lower and she looked at the other maid " Right Tessa ?",
