"Bite Me First"

459 Words
Chapter One – The Girl Who Wanted to Die Pretty Evie Monroe wasn’t depressed. She just didn’t care. Small-town Florida. Drunk mom. Fake friends. She hated school, hated people, and most of all— hated how invisible she was. Until the new guy showed up. Jace Corvin. All-black everything. Eyes like night held hostage. He didn’t talk. He watched. Like he knew who she really was. The first time he touched her wrist, he whispered: “You're the only heartbeat I can't ignore.” Chapter Two – He Wasn’t Human. But He Wasn’t a Monster Yet. Jace wasn’t normal. He didn’t show up in yearbook photos. He never ate. And on the night of the blood moon, Evie caught him draining the vice principal in the woods. She ran. He followed. “You’re not scared,” he said. “You’re right,” she answered. “You want this.” “No.” “You want me.” He kissed her before she could argue. And she didn’t stop him. Chapter Three – The Deal He came to her room that night. Laid a contract on her bed. “One year. Be mine. Let me feed from you. Let me ruin you. And I’ll give you what you want in return.” “What do I want?” “A death no one forgets.” “And what do you want?” “To never be alone again.” She signed it in blood. Chapter Four – Obsession Looks Like Love in a Mirror That Lies He didn’t just bite her. He bit anyone who looked at her too long. He fed on her emotions. Her pain. Her fire. He made her fail school. Made her fight her friends. Made her burn every bridge. But she didn’t care. Because when he held her, the world vanished. “You’re mine,” he growled. “Then take all of me,” she begged. And he did. Chapter Five – He Turned Her He said he loved her. So he bit her neck under the stars. She died in his arms. And woke up… cold. No heart. No hunger. Just emptiness. “Where’s the love?” she asked. “Gone,” he said. “You don’t feel it once you're like me.” She screamed. Final Chapter – The Twist She didn’t kill him. She left him in the sunrise. Burning. Alone. She took his power, his immortality, and his name. Now she walks the earth — Evie Corvin — looking for the next broken soul to ruin. And when people ask why she has no reflection… She smiles and says: “Because the mirror knows I’m still looking for someone to love me like a lie.” 🩸 The End.
