The king had established a meeting room on the ship and spent most of his time there, issuing orders and considering the best way to wipe the Hadem off the face of the earth. A few days went by, cloaked in tension that seemed unbearable.
One morning, Herrith stood in attendance, straining to see Aria's face. The lights were dim, and everything looked blurrier than it should. Herrith wanted to read what state Aria was in, but there was a sort of sparkling fog around her, and he couldn't see her face clearly.
"Herrith!" Ikajo barked. Herrith nearly jumped but caught himself in time, holding himself very still.
