Susana’s POV I could smell the fragrant aroma of the dish Carlos loved so much, and it only fueled my resolve. Did she want to play the perfect mate? Not on my watch. I would destroy her plans. I moved swiftly, opening the pantry and grabbing the jar of chilli flakes. I knew that Carlos had an ulcer and the chili would be a problem but at least it would give me a chance to blame someone and make Carlos hate them.
