“Why are you back? When did you arrive? Akala ko three weeks or more ka pa sa Greece?” Sunod sunod na tanong ko kay Silas.
He brought me to his place because he wanted us to talk in private. On our way to his place no one dared to talk, we were engulfed by an awful silence.
It was super awkward and the tension around us is making me nervous.
Silas’ mood is foul and I can’t blame him.
When we arrived at his place I had no time to appreciate the interiors or the furnitures because he walked fast towards his living room and sat down without looking at me.
Ni hindi man lang nya ako inalok maupo, so who out being invited I still sat down on the other side, magkatapat kami.
He still did not say anything kaya ako na ang unang nag tanong. Akala ko nga hindi nya ako papansinin.
“Do you think I can concentrate there after I saw the post?” He spatted bitterly.
His brow furrowed, his jaw is clenched he has dark circles under his eyes that depicts sleepless nights, his hair is disheveled as if he was so annoyed that he messed up his hair.. but even when he looks so stress, he is still undeniably handsome.
Ohhh I missed him so bad! Gusto kong takbuhin ang pagitan namin at yakapin sya ng mahigpit!
But right now that’s not a good idea because he really looks piss.
I inhaled slowly as I played with my fingers, my eyes are not living his stares.
He looks cold! Like the times when he was still ignoring me nung bago pa ako.
“Are you mad at me?” I whispered and my heart sank when he responded.
“Yes.” He said it without blinking. I was hoping that he would say No.
”Sorry..” I whispered.
Napayuko ako, I don’t want him to see my disappointed face.
I heard a movement kasunod ng marahas na buntong hininga. Then the next thing I know is lumubog ang parte ng couch sa tabi ko and before I can even react, I just found myself enveloped in his arms.
His warm body feels comforting and his smell..it feels home.
He is really here!
Mariin kong pinikit ang mga mata ko, Hindi pa din makapaniwala na andito na sya!
He muttered a curse and sighed.
“Hindi talaga kita matiis. Ako ang nagtatampo pero ako ang bumigay at handang sumuyo sayo.” Mariin nyang sabi.
It really hits different whenever he speaks in Filipino.
My eyes watered as my heart felt warm because of what he had said.
Unti unti syang humiwalay saakin at inangat ang baba ko para hulihin ang aking mata.
He doesn’t look mad anymore. Instead, he looks disappointed and tired. I removed his hand on my face and held it with both of my hands.
“I..I d-didn’t cheat North.” I paused and swallowed hard. “ I didn’t cheat..” I whispered and slowly shook my head.
I didn’t realized that there are tears that fell from my eyes already hadn’t he wiped it immediately.
His face darkened. He closed his eyes as if he is in pain, then he opened his eyes and his gaze softened.
“I know Agape Mou.. I know.” Malambing nyang sabi bago hinawakan ang mukha ko at nilapit sakanya para halikan ang aking noo. “I know you too well, and I don’t believe in that crap!” he exhaled harshly and pulled my hands then kissed the back of my palms.
My heart melted, he trusts me!
Parang akong nabunutan big tinik! I feel so happy! He doesn’t believe in that post!
“Please stop crying baby..” he whispered habang patuloy nyang pinupanasan ang mga luha ko.
I am crying because he believes me and I am just so d*mn happy! Parang nabura lahat ng sakit sa puso ko nitong mga nakaraan araw!
“But.. you looked mad kanina sa mall.” I said in a small voice. He sat properly and pulled me on my feet then he placed me on his lap.
“North!” Natataranta Kong sabi. I tried to stand but he stopped me.
“Stay still.” He said in demanding voice, his arms snaked on my waist. “I missed you so bad, I need you to be this near.. I want to hold you so close and I want you inside my arms.” He said before he placed his chin on my shoulder near my neck.
I held my breath. He is super close!
“I was never mad at you.” He started and I stopped moving. “ The moment I saw the video, I knew that the video uploader is just making up a story. And seeing the number of reactions and comments, especially the bashing..” He exhaled harshly. “The first thing I thought was..you were probably sad and suffering because of the harsh comments. I was mad..beyond mad..at the uploader and the people who judged you easily and bad mouthed you!” He chuckled bitterly. “They even dared to tag me! Stupid f*ckers! They are just unhappy with their lives that’s why they are trying to ruin someone else’s life!”
Napasinghap ako. Minsan talaga masyadong prangka at masakit mag salita si Silas. I bit my lip as I waited for him to continue.
“So I had to stepped out of the meeting and went home immediately to get my passport-“
“You did what?!” Di makapaniwalang tanong ko. My eyes widened in shock!
Bumuntong hininga ito at hinigpitan at pag kakayakap saakin.
“I can’t focused at the meeting so I excused myself and asked my uncle to cover for me.” He said it in a way na para bang hindi iyon big deal.
“North naman, you shouldn’t have done that, you are now the Officer in Charged, sayo pinagkatiwala ng Dad mo ang Company, ano nalang sasabihin ng board of directors nyo?”
“Agape Mou, I don’t care what they will say, we own seventy percent of the company, if they have something to say might as well sell their share to me-“
“North!” Reklamo ko na ikinatawa nya.
“Ny uncle is there Agape Mou, so don’t worry.”
Napabuntong hininga ako. Nang dahil sa gulo na it to ay naapektuhan pa ang kanyang trabaho. Now I am feeling guilty.
“Don’t think about it anymore.” Masuyo nyang sabi bago ako hinalikan sa pisngi.
I pouted and reluctantly nodded.
“Why don’t you just tell me what really happened in the video?”
I stilled.
“I deserve to know.” He added.
And so I told him everything and he just stayed silent as he listened from the start to the end.
“You should have still told us what happened, and did not make up a lousy story. I knew that there’s something fishy about your story. Beacause I saw how your cousins are overly protective of the three of you.. so I know there’s no way that because of your harutan you’ll end up with red mark.” He sighed.
“I’m sorry I lied.”
“Promise me you won’t do it again.. I am your boyfriend Cassiopeia.. I deserve to know everything..Hmnn?”
“And I am your girlfriend, I deserve to know everything too, right?” Nilingon ko sya, inalis nya ang mukha sa pag kakasiksik sa leeg ko. Our eyes met, his eyes are full of questions.
“Love, I never lied to you-“
“But you kept something from me!” Mabilis kong sabi na ikinakunot ng noo nya.
“What do you mean?”
Inirapan ko sya.
“Well..you failed to mention that Sancha is with you!”
