“That’s a good deal, at least pag di ka nainlove sakanya titigilan ka na nya.”

Napahinga ako ng malalim, hindi ko alam kung ano pumasok sa isip ko para hamunin si Silas ng ganon. And I’m not sure if it is a good deal. But then what choice do I have? I just need to be careful and keep my heart in a safe place. I need to be cautious and be sure that I will not fall in the Gray Eyed Evil Greek Guy!

“I hope so too Ate Saf.” alanganin kong sabi. Kita ko ang pag angat ng labi nya kasabay nang pag pamewang nya sa harap ko.

“Not confident enough?” Nanlaki ang mga mata ko, pabilis akong nagtaas ng dalawang kamay na para bang susuko.

“No! I mean..K-kasi..ano-”

“Ate Saf, Kuya Silas is tuso! He is hot and charming, girls go gaga over him..and tao lang si Cassie so you can’t blame her if mahulog sya sa patibong-”

“That won’t happen.” putol ko sa sinasabi ni Azalea.

Nagtaas sya nang kilay saakin.

“Oh? Really cous? Because I can see that he has an effect on you!” nakangisi nyang sabi.

I glared at her.

“Kung makappag salita ka naman parang lahat ng girls pwede magkagusto sakanya! Bakit ikaw? Or si Ate Saf?!” Hamon ko.

Azalea rolled her eyes on me, while I saw how Ate Saf tried to stop herself from smiling. Mabilis na hinubad ni Azalea ang suot na shades matapos ay umupo mula sa pa kakahiga

We are here in the Mansion’s swimming area, we decided to take a sunbath before going for a swim, it’s Thursday and holiday kaya nag decide kami mag hangout lang sa main Mansion.

“Duh! Because, Kuya Silas is like my brother and he is not Ate Saf’s type!” halata ang disguto sa mukha nito habang ipinapaliwanag sakin na para bang isang malaking kahibangan ang sinabi ko.

Kung makapag salita naman kasi sila ay parang sinasabi nilang at the end of the day maiinlove din ako kay Silas at obvious na iyon. I agree that Silas is really hot and a God’s gift, but that doesn’t mean na maiinlove ako sakanya. I admit that I’m attracted to him pero alam ko, kaya ko hangang doon lang yun!

“Leigh.. Just remember na kahit mainlove ka sakanya, that’s okay.. There’s nothing wrong with it. Okay?”

“I hope you won’t tho..”

Napabalikwas ako nang biglang dumating si Yckos na nakasuot ng boardshorts at white sando, mukhang mag suswimming din ito.

“Kuya Silas, is a good guy.. But I am not sure if you can handle him.” he continued.

“Yckos, don’t say that! Caleigh might run away from Kuya Silas!” sabi naman ni Phoenix na kakadating lang at kaakbay ng Kuya nitong si Reed.

“I like Kuya Silas but.. I don’t like her for Cassie. My priority is Cassie’s well being..”He said while looking at me.

I smiled at him. Of all my guy cousins, I find him the sweetest. Hindi man sya kasing talkative or palabiro na katulad ni Reed and Phoenix o nang Kambal.. But when he speaks palaging may sense ito.

“If you guys will ask me, I think..Kuya Silas is okay, he may seem like a playboy pero I don’t really think he is, sadyang lapitin lang talaga nang babae. And I can see how he looks at you Cassie,I think..he really likes you.” Reed said before diving in the pool.

“Kuya Reed is right, Kuya Silas likes you.. He is not just a vocal person.” Nakangising sabi ni Phoenix before jumping in the pool.

“See? All our cousins are in favor of Kuya Silas, don’t be too hard on him Leigh!” Azalea said before going to the guys.

Napahinga ako nang malalim, bumaling ako kay Ate Saf to ask for her opinion again but her eyes are already closed while Yckos on the other hand just smiled at me before joining the guys who are now racing in the water.

Talking to my cousins made me more confused. Maybe because I am over thinking? Should I just go with the flow and give Silas a chance? Giving him a chance doesn’t mean that I’ll eventually like him right? Who knows? Baka at the end of the deal, I won’t feel a thing for him and he might also realize that I won’t ever like him no matter what he does.

Jianna decided to join us for lunch dahil namimiss na daw nya si Kuya Yvo. Unfortunately Kuya Yvo is not with us dahil nakaupo ito sa table nang bestfriend nito na mukhang broken hearted, kaya Jiana is sulking beside Yckos right now.

“Why does he needs to be with her in another table? Pwede naman sila dito ha?” Jianna whined habang tinutusok tusok ang porchop nyang lamog na.

“Because they are talking about something important?” natakaas kilay na sabi ni Phoenix.

“Nakakainis naman kasi! Kung kelan ako sumabay sainyo ng lunch wala naman sya!”

“Jianna, you look funny when you are jealous!” nang aasar na sabi ni Azalea pgtapos batuhin si Jianna ng tissue.

“Ayokong mag selos pero tingnan mo naman kasi, may pasandal sandal pa sa balikat ni Yvo ko! Ito namang pinsan nyong salawahan may pa hagod hagod pa sa likod!” mangiyak ngiyak nitong sabi.

“Grabe ka naman, bestfriends si Kuya Yvo at Leanne! Kung si Kuya Silas ang guy bestfriend ni Kuya Yvo, si Leanne naman ang girl bestfriend nya! There’s no reason for you to be jealous!” natatawang sabi ni Phoenix.

Speaking of Silas, he messaged me in the messenger na he won’t be able to join for lunch dahil may aasikasuhin ito kasama ang kambal kong pinsan. While on the other hand, Ate Saf and Reed are in the registration office since may inutos sakanila si Grandma.

“Kasi naman, look at how he looks at that Leanne! Nakakaselos talaga!” Madrama nyang sabi, Hindi ko alam kung maaawa ako o matatawa.

“Stop being jealous, you don’t have the right..you’re not his girl.”Seryosong sabi ni Yckos na kanina pang tahimik.

Mabilis kaming napatingin kay Yckos, super prangaka talaga itong mag salita. Sometimes he sounds so mean na..and he is a cold guy sa ibang tao maliban saamin.

“The hell?! Sakit mo namang mag salita! Paki mo ba?!” Jianna said, she really look offended.

“I’m just trying to tell you the truth. In case you don’t know yet, Kuya Yvo likes Leanne for years..” Yckos said that made my jaw drop. Si Azalea naman ay napabuga ng iniinom sa harap ni Phoenix sa sobrang pag kagulat.

“Aleah! Kadiri naman oh-”

“Oh? I knew it! He likes Leanne pala talaga! Kala ko mali ako!” Azalea said after she wiped the water that spilled from her mouth.

“He’s in love with her..I know because he told me.” seryoso nyang sabi habang nakatingin kay Jianna. “So stop dreaming about my brother.” He said harshly that made Jianna cry for real.

Napasinghap ako.

“Yckos!” saway ko.

I know that he has a point but he should be sensitive, alam na nyang nasasaktan si Jianna, dapat alam nyang mag preno. Kaya natatakot syang lapitan ng girls, because they know how cold and mean he is.

“Hoyyy Yckos, wag ka mag paiyak ng babae!” natatarantang sabi ni Phoenix sabay hanap ng tissue at abot kay Jianna pero di nito tinangap, instead nag mamadali tong tumayo at umalis sa table namin.

“You cold hearted guy! You can say it in a nice way ang harsh mo naman sa friend ko!” Azalea said while glaring at Yckos, tumayo na din ito para sundan si Jianna.

”Not cool man.” Pheonix said.

”That’s really harsh, Yckos.” I said but he smiled sadly at me.

“Life is harsh cous.” Yckos said before he left us dumbfounded.
