Ika Dalawampu’t Lima- Bloody Nose

I woke up feeling good. I don’t know why, but I feel happy. I checked the time, it is seven in the morning, naramdaman ko ang pag kalam ng sikmura ko.

Maybe I should get up now, take a shower and wake Silas para makapag breakfast kami. Gusto ko din sana gisinging ang girl kaso kasama nila ang boyfriends nila sa rooms nila, so ayoko silang istorbohin.

Matapos ko maligo, dumiretso ako sa kwarto ni Silas para gisingin sya. I knocked three times but there’s no one answering.

I stayed in front of his room for several minutes more bago ako nag decide subukan ikutin ang handle ng pinto nya. I was just trying my luck but then bumukas ang pinto nya, kaya dahan dahan akong sumilip sa kwarto nya, medyo madilim ang kwarto kaya binuksan ko ng malaki ang kwarto. Dahan dahan akong pumasok.

“Silas-“ I stood frozen kasabay ng pag bukas ko ng ilaw.

My lips parted.

“s**t!” Gulat na sabi ni Silas.

I don’t know how to react. I blinked several times, I am not dreaming, totoo ang nakikita ko.

Silas is wearing nothing but a towel covering his private part and his hands are on Sancha’s waist. While Sancha is only covered with a bathrobe, her arms are snaked at Silas’s shoulder and her lips was half opened na para bang kagagaling lang sa pag ungol..

Mabilis na tinulak ni Silas si Sancha. His eyes are wide and in shock. He suddenly turned pale.

While Sancha turned red in embarrassment, she obviously is not expecting an audience..

I chuckled sarcastically.

“Oh..sorry, did I disturbed you guys?”

“Love, it’s not what you think!” Nag pa panic na sabi ni Silas.. “Let me explain-“

“Don’t waste your time, I have no interest to listen.” Kuyom palad kong sabi bago mabilis na tinalikuran sila. Pabalya kong sinarado ang pinto at tumakbo papasok ng kwarto ko. Mabilis kong tinawagan si Yckos.

“Yckos, can you please track my location, and send our chopper here. I need to go home asap.”

I heard Yckos’ sharp inhale.

“What’s happening? Is everything okay?”

“Send it now..please?” I said softly trying to stay calm.

I heard him cursed on the other line.

“I’ll be there in a few minutes.” He promised.

“Thank you.” I said my goodbye to him then I hurriedly packed my things.

Damn that guy! Sinasabi ko na! I cannot believe that I almost trust him! Once a playboy, will always be a playboy!

Ang dami naman babae dyan! Bakit ako pa?! If my cousins will know this, malaking gulo ito! I sniffed.

My eyes widened. Bakit…bakit basa ang pisngi ko?? Am I crying?! There’s no way na affected ako! I mean.. I do not even like him! So I am not jealous or anything!

Maybe, I am crying because I am mad! He made a fool out of me! Hindi mataggap ng pride ko! Sancha must be laughing on me!

“Love..love..please open the door. Let me in..I will explain.” Kumakatok na sabi nya.

Huh! Explain your face!

I opened my Spotify and connected it to the speaker in the room, then I played my playlist loudly so I cannot his annoying voice.

I don’t want to hear him, nor speak to him.

And mostly I don’t want to see his annoying face!

Yckos, arrived few minutes later. I told him to pick me up on my room, sinabihan ko din sya na tulungan ako dahil nasa may pinto si Silas. Yckos brought Ate Saf with him dahil ng tumawag ako ay mag kasama pala sila, and Ate Saf knew that I am in trouble. They made sure that no one else would know or else it will be a big problem.

When I went out of my room, Yckos immediately took my things from me and shielded me from Silas. While Silas’ friends are trying to stop Silas from coming near me and the girls are looking at me sympathetically while Sancha is not around.

It was a mess, lalo ng mag pumilit lumapit saakin si Silas para pigilan ako at mag paliwanag sya.

But it was Ate Safron who made Silas stopped. I don’t know what she told him but it left him frozen to his spot. Eventually we were able to leave the Mansion.

Nang makasakay kami sa chopper ay katahimikan ang bumalot saamin tatlong mag pipinsan. No one dared to talk, but I can feel their eyes on me. Nang pababa na kami sa chopper ay nakiusap ako sa dalawa na wag sabihin kahit kanino ang nangyari. They asked me what happened, and I told them that I want to rest first and promised to explain it to them once I am ready and they accepted my wish.

Monday came and my cousins noticed my silence. Kinulit nila ako mag kwento tungkol sa outing namin pero nang mapansin Nila na wala akong balak mag sabi ng kahit ano ay nanahimik sila. Only Yckos and At Saf knew that truth, I told them last night. Yckos was fuming mad if not for Ate Saf, he would have confronted Silas that night.

I can feel Kuya Yvo’s stare but he said nothing to me.

Does he know what happened? Nakarating na ba sakanya ang balita? Nag kausap na ba sila ni Silas.

Lunch time came and I made an excuse na I needed to be in the library that time at di ako makakasabay sakanila. But the truth is, ayoko lang sumabay dahil baka makita ko si Silas. I don’t want to see him yet, baka di ako makapag pigil sa harap ng mga pinsan ko.

I decided to go to the court, doon nalang ako kakain sa bleachers, I brought a sandwich with me. Pag pasok ko ng court ay walang tao kaya nakahinga ako ng maluwag. Pumwesto ako sa pinaka mataas na parte at doon ko mabagal na kinain ang aking sandwich. Dahil sa sandwich lang ang pagkain ko, kahit among bagal ng pag nguya ko ay mabilis ko itong naubos. Matapos ay napatingin ako sa relo ko. Maaga pa at mahaba pa ang break time, siguro ay tutunganga muna ako dito.

“Uy, Leigh! What are you doing here?” Napaigtad ako sa boses ng bagong dating. It was Nigel, yung friend Nila Kuya Yvo.

“Hi..”nahihiyang bati ko. Buti nalang naligpit ko na ang kinainan ko. Mag tataka sya pag nalaman na dito ako kumain mag isa at baka makarating pa ito kay Kuya Yvo. Mabilis Kong dinampot ang gamit ko at bumaba sa bleachers.

“Uhhh..wala tinatamad akong mag punta ng library kaya dito ko nalang ginawa ang assignment ko, tahimik kasi dito..” pag sisinungaling ko.

Umiwas ako ng tingin dahil sa kinakabahan ako na baka mahalatang nag sisinungaling lang ako.

“I-ikaw?” I cleared my throat. “What are you doing here?” Tanong ko sabay sulyap sakanya?

“Mag i stretching lang, may practice kasi kami ng team at mainit pa sa quadrangle.” Nakangiti nyang sabi. Napatingin ako sa suot nyang team uniform at napatango.

“Ahh..sige, I’ll go ahead..para di na din kita maistorbo.”

“No..you can stay..I don’t mind.” Masigla nyang sabi.

“Ahhh hindi na, tapos na naman ako-“

“Are you okay?” Putol nya sa sinasabi ko sabay yuko saakin. His face is so close to my face.

My eyes widen in shock.

“Huh?”

“Your eyes..” sabi nya.

What’s wrong with my eyes? Impossible naman na namumugto, hindi na naman ako umiyak kagabi.

“Your eyes looks sad.. it looks empty.” He whispered that made me gasped. Namamanghang napatingin ako sakanya. Napansin pa nya iyon??

“Is everything okay?” He asked gently, pero ang sunod nyang ginawa ang nag pa estatwa saakin.

Hinaplos nya ang mukha ko habang nakatingin ng diretso saakin.

“I want to wipe off the sadness in your eyes.” He whispered. “I don’t like seeing you sad.”

I know that Nigel has a thing for me, I noticed that sa ilang beses naming pag kikita. His stares are different, his words has double meanings and his concern to me is too much, but this is the first time that he was this close to me..that he touches me..maybe because it is the first time na nag solo kami?

“F*cking s**t” I heard someone said and the next thing I know is nasa sahig na si Nigel, with a bloody nose!
