Ika Tatlompu’t Pito- Worried

A week passed by like a blur. Maybe because I enjoyed everyday of it, or maybe because it felt short since Silas is living on Monday.

We tried not to talk about is kasi parehas kami na nalulungkot lang, so what we did is just enjoy each other’s company as we create new memories together.

We are both adjusting since it is our first relationship, and we have a lot to learn about being in a relationship. What I appreciate about it is the fact that we are really comfortable in each other and we really enjoy each others company.

In the span of time that we are together there’s no fight that happened between us yet, and that is because Silas is always understanding me or making me understand about things or about the situation. I am actually surprised with Silas’s maturity level, and I love the fact that he can handle me..handle my tantrums, kaartehan or my kamalditahan.

“I miss you.” He said in sweet and gentle voice. Kahit sa video call ang pogi pa din nya! I wonder if may araw ba or oras na mukha syang normal? Because to be honest he is not a normal looking person, siguro nung mag sabog ng kagwapuhan sa mundo ay una sya sa pila. I bet kahit pag mag suot sya ng trash bag ay gwapo pa din ito. I have seen a lot of hot guys abroad but iba talaga kagwapuhan ni Silas.

“It’s only two days only since umalis ka ng Pilipinas, miss mo agad ako?!” Natatawang tanong ko bago tuluyan humiga sa kama at tumagilid na pwesto habang nakatapat ang iphone sa mukha, it is already nine in the evening while it is only 4 in the afternoon at Greece.

“I already missed you while I was on my flight.” Nakasimangot nyang sabi. He is at their house, resting because of jet lag. Bukas pa sya pupunta sa Company nila.

“Aren’t you going to tell me that you missed me too?”

“Huh? Who says I missed you?” Nag pipigil ako ng ngiti na tanong sakanya. I love teasing him because he’s so cute whenever he’s annoyed.

“Love!” Angal nya, his handsome face looks disappointed.

“Baka bukas miss na kita.” Dagdag ko pa na seryoso ang mukha.

Silas sighed. He shook his head and gave me a sad look.

“It seems like I’m the one who’s really crazy in this relationship.” Bumuntong hininga pa ito at di ko na napigilan tumawa.

“Guess what?!” Bigla kong sabi.

“What?” Malungkot nyang tanong. I

“Kuya Evan is coming home! He will visit me! He will visit us! Wala pang exact date but this month daw then he will be here for a month, gosh I am so excited!”

Umayos ng pag kakaupo si Silas, matapos ay sumandal Ito sa headboard ng kama nya.

“Oh..then I’ll finally meet him in person.”

“Depends..if maabutan mo sya.” I shrugged.

“Don’t worry..I’ll go home as soon as possible especially when I’m so worried because my girlfriend doesn’t miss me while I on the other hand is missing her so crazy!” May halo pa ding pag tatampo na sabi nito.

“Hala, Ang arte!” Tawang tawa kong sabi pero inirapan nya lang ako.

“I wish I am beside you now. I’ll kiss you hard because that’s the only way to make you stop from teasing me.”

I gasped. Then a wicked smile formed on my lips.

“Libre naman mag wish, kayo go lungs..” nang aasar ko pang sabi na ikinabuntong hininga lang nya.

”So.. you really don’t miss me yet?”

“Mga ilang buntong hininga pa?!” Tanong ni Phoenix.

Napa ayos ako ng upo at inalis ang kamay ko sa pagka lumbaba. Time difference is real, ang hirap pala mag LDR lalo pa at ang laki ng time difference tapos may school ako then sya naman may pasok sa Company nila at online class. But despite of that he is still making time for me..pero kita ko ang pagod sa mukha nya. May time pa nga na nakatulog sya habang mag ka video call kami.

I miss him so bad.

Now naguilty ako sa pang aasar nya sakin, ganito pala ang feeling pag super miss mo ang isang tao... , you can’t get him out of your head tapos na didistract ka pa.

“Don’t worry Cous, mamaya I FaceTime ko si Silas, then I’ll tell him: Uwi ka na, di ma galet si Leigh.” Banat ni Kuya Rue.

“Oh my gosh!” Muntik na mabulunan si Azalea sa narinig, nag tawanan ang mga pinsan ko bentang benta ang sinabi ni Kuya Rue.

I pouted. Palagi nila akong inaasar na miss ko na daw si Silas. It’s only Kuya Yvo and Yckos who are not teasing me. It’s been a week so normal na ma miss ko si Silas!

“That’s why I hate LDR. Never again.” Ate Saf flipped her hair back.

“Wait, so yung ex mo wala sa Palawan?” Kuya Rue asked, wala na ang ngiti nito sa labi.

Ate Saf just shrugged and continued eating her pasta.

“Sino ba kasi yang ex mo na hindi man lang kami nirespeto at nag paalam na liligawan ka?” Inis na tanong naman ni Kuya Thyme.

“Pwede ba, stop asking his identity because I won’t tell a single soul! Besides, what for? matagal na kaming hiwalay. And I don’t intend to have any connection with him anymore!” Masungit na sabi ni Ate Saf, salubong ang kilay nito, she’s now sporting her maldita aura.

Ate Saf never shared about his ex, kahit samin mi Azalea ay hindi nya nakwento kahit anong pilit ni Azalea, she said it’s just a waste of time.

“Did he break your heart?” Yckos asked.

Ate Saf’s lips parted. Then she looked away.

No one dared to speak, then after a minute, Ate Saf put her fork down and she stood immediately..lahat kami ay nakatingin lang sakanya.

The air around us is full of tension.

“I was the one you broke his heart, and that’s all you guys need to know, excuse me.” She said in a cold voice before she left us all dumbfounded.

Naniniwala ako sa sinabi mi Ate Saf, because she’s one of the people I know who rarely lies, she’s a straightforward and frank person and the way she said that she broke his ex’s heart..I saw it through her eyes…she’s telling the truth. But then I know that she left another information hidden from us.

Oo, maybe she broke his heart, but her heart is broken too. And it seems like until now..she’s still broken.

Silas is unreachable since yesterday which is unusual. Walang araw na hindi kami magkachat and video call no matter how busy or tired he is. He is also offline on his socials. And it is frustrating but I don’t have any other way to contact him.

I am super worried. But I cant do anything, I am completely helpless and I hate it.

I only told Yckos about it dahil my cousins might tease me again, and Yckos said that I should not worry to much baka daw super busy lang daw ni Silas. He tried to comfort and distract me so I am super thankful.

“Break ba siguro sila.”

“Told you, Hindi sila mag tatagal.”

“Poor Silas, first girlfriend tapos…”

“Who’s the guy though? Ang gwapo and hot in fairness.”

“But Silas is way hotter!”

Napapilig ang ulo ko. Anong pinag uusapan Nila? Anong chismis is na naman kaya ang gawa gawa nila?

“Caleigh!”

Napalingon ako sa humahangos na si Phoenix, his handsome face is full of worry, I don’t like the way that he is looking at me.

“Hey, what’s wrong?”

“I’m sorry this is all my fault.”

“Huh?”
