CHAPTER FOURTEEN
That night, shortly after dinner, Sara went upstairs and slipped into her new, sexy underwear. She’d had just the right amount of wine to make her move. Any more, and she would be asleep. She covered herself up with a small satin dressing gown, long enough to cover her bottom and not much else, and quietly came back down the stairs.
George was sitting in her arm chair watching television and had his back to her when she entered the room. She sneaked up behind him, leaning in to his ear and whispered: “Surprise.” George’s startled reaction was not what the one she was expecting. He certainly seemed surprised, but not in a good way. Immediately embarrassed, she secured the robe around her again and didn’t know where to look, sit or stand.
