Chapter 13

The band sang a cover song Pretender by AJR. The laughs and chats of the people were overlapping as Tovi took another glass of beer while Amy and Tiana gawped at her.

Tovi ahhh in delight after drinking the whole glass of beer and was wearing a smile on her face and her eyelids were droopy. Cole couldn't help but look at Tovi getting drunk while he still managed to give Sandy attention.

"This place is hideous!" Sandy exclaimed with a disgusted look on her face. "Sugar, can we just get out of here?" Her hand slowly traced on Cole's hand that made him flinch and pulled his hand away from her.

"Sure," he said with a small smile. They both stood up as Cole partly glanced at Tovi who was laughing exaggeratedly while Amy and Tiana were trying to stop her from drinking more.

As he and Sandy headed to the door, Amy and Tiana saw them leaving.

"He didn't even look back at her," Amy said with an angry glare while Tiana held the glass away from Tovi.

"You know, I was so frustrated with my life right now that I wish I didn't choose the wrong guy that got me pregnant! I could've been more successful than them, you know?" Tovi said with a slurred speech. Then she began sniffing. "I've been working a lot and eating a lot because of stress! That I looked like a dreadful mother and have no chance of marrying someone again!" Her tears ran down her cheeks as Tiana patted her shoulders to atleast make her feel better.

"We have to get her home," Amy told Tiana.

"I agree," Tiana said. The two of them grabbed Tovi's arms but she refused to be touched by them.

"No! Are you Cole? The oh-so-handsome and young, irresponsible, rude, and someone who likes to play with your feelings, CEO's son!" she said as Amy and Tiana glanced at each other then they noticed Cole appearing from their backs that made them take a step back to give him a way towards Tovi.

Tovi raised her head and saw Cole with blurry yellow lights behind him. "Cole! What's up?" she said, emphasizing the "p".

"I heard you're looking for me?" Cole asked with the same arrogant smile.

"You are still full of s**t! You could've just bang a p**********n because that's how you release your stress, right?" Tovi said with her slurring words.

Cole glanced at Tiana and Amy. "Let me take her home."

Tiana and Amy just nodded then Cole grabbed Tovi's arm and wrapped it on his shoulders. They walked outside the bar and the heavy rain dropped on the Earth's surface. Making Cole cursed.

He decided to run across the parking lot with Tovi hanging on his shoulders. He placed Tovi at the passenger's seat and put a seatbelt on her body then closed the door. He went to the seat where the steering wheel was at then shut the door. He noticed that Tovi's head was lying on the window and her eyes were closed. Her arms were drenched from the rain and Cole could tell that she was shivering from the cold. He took out his coat then placed it over to Tovi's body like a blanket. Before he turned on the engine, he caught himself staring at her then he suddenly felt sorry that this happened to her because of him. He sighed then turned the car's engine then drove away.

The rain became heavier and stronger as Cole drove on the lonely road. He was driving on a steep slippery road when a truck was about to go against them. Cole quickly stirred the whole car to their left and ended up bumping at the tree that broke the car's engine. The airbag deployed but it was faulty so it didn't bump into Cole and Tovi's body. Cole glanced at Tovi who was still peacefully sleeping at the passenger's seat. Cole removed his seatbelt then got out of the car. He checked the car's front and saw that the engine's busted.

"s**t!" he said. He went back to the wheels and tried to jump starting the car but it didn't work. The rain continued dropping as Cole gets in the car while partly looking around to see if he could get help. But to his bad luck, the evening was already late and there were no cars around the steep road, not even a single building.

He dialed Ramon's phone number but none of his calls were going through because he was not getting a cellphone's signal. He let out a sigh of frustration as he glanced at Tovi who was still sleeping. He shut the door and tried the car's engine again but it still failed.

Cole lost his hope and decided to wait on the next morning instead to look for help. For now, he has to spend the night with Tovi, who just moved from her sleep and massaging her temples while her eyes squinting. Then went back on sleeping again.

Cole stared at her as he observed her natural pink lips and her round-shaped eyes, she looked dreamy in her sleep. After the days that they hang out together, this was the only time that he was able to look at her closely.

His long, hard stare was interrupted when his body shivered. Because he handed Tovi his coat, all he had on his body was a white shirt that was drenched from the rain. He took it off then threw it at the back seat. He blew air between his hands as he rubbed it against each other like a villain. He noticed that Tovi was beginning to shiver too even with his coat. But he knew it was her dress that's keeping the cold water in her body. He took off the seatbelt from her then he slowly removed the coat from her as it slowly revealed her cleavage from her dress that made Cole's heart beating fast. He knew that what he was thinking was a bad idea but it's the only way for Tovi to not get sick.

He started unbuttoning the buttons at the front of Tovi's dress. The lingerie that was making her round breasts bigger appeared in front of him as sweat beginning to slid down his face and making his mouth dry. He slowly removed the clothing off of her body to prevent her from waking up. Then the dress came off all the way to her legs, showing off her black panties. Cole gulped as he continued to removed the dress off of Tovi's body.

When he was successful, he stared at Tovi's naked body like it was shining from his sight. It was tempting to touch her but he knew that it was wrong to do it, especially that she was sleeping and didn't ask for his consent. He shrugged off the thought then he quickly picked up his coat and wrapped it around Tovi's body, covering her beautiful parts.

Cole sighed as he couldn't help himself but to stare at Tovi again. He remembered her face smiling at him when they were having fun at the arcade. He didn't expect to see such a beautiful smile like that. And he was hoping he could see it again one day.
