FORTY-FIVE For a moment, the sun came out from between the clouds and they strolled along the banks of the River Dee, crossed the bridge to the far side, sat on a bench and said nothing. Brigit closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder and Johnny smiled, the sensation stirring in his loins pleasant and welcome.
