Ivy stood at the edge of the clearing, her eyes locked on Axel,confused. Then out of nowhere a pair of warm arms wrapped around her from behind. The scent of lavender and woodsmoke hit her a second before the voice did. “ You have grown so tall. But you became so thin,my Mushi Mushi baby! ” Ivy nearly jumped out of her skin. “Grandma!” she gasped, twisting in the embrace. The old woman chuckled, her voice warm and raspy like wind through autumn leaves. “Did you think I wouldn’t feel you coming, child? The trees whispered your name hours ago.” Ivy’s pulse stuttered. Hours ago? Usually her grandmother's gibberish would not actually affected her or she wouldn't even notice. But lately... Lately things haven't been exactly ... Unnoticeable... Have they? “You were expecting us?” Ivy asked
