Castor didn't speak to me on the way home. He held me close with a flat expression on his face. I wondered if he might be thinking about Kayleigh.
Pollux occasionally looked at both of us through the rearview mirror above his head. It was so quiet that I heard something vibrating next to me. Castor grabbed his cell phone from his coat pocket and glanced at the screen.
He ignored the message on his phone and held me close again. Even though I was silent, I kept my eyes on Castor and Pollux, who were staring at each other. The attitude between the two of them made me curious.
