Coleman covers me from the blast but the ringing in my head continues to buzz. It only gets louder with each passing second. My vision is temporarily blurry and it's hard for me to get up. Coleman says something but it's lost with all the buzzing.
He gets up and grabs my g*n along with all of my things. He picks me up and places me behind a wooden box. I think he says something along the lines of reassurance but it comes and goes.
Coleman takes one knee and hides behind the box using it as cover. I don't understand. He's a robot. Why would he need to cover? The gunshots make the buzzing worse, so I cover my ears and cower against the box.
