Jeremy’s POV I knew he had a plan, Adrian Wolfe always does, but why he was suddenly playing the role of a devoted father tugged at me. My gut screams there’s something deeper, and I’ll be damned if I don’t get to the bottom of it. It’s been a week since Bella got her acceptance letter from Stanford, and tonight is her send-off party. I still remember how she looked at me—eyes wide, her voice soft and pleading, begging me to help me throw the best party anyone’s ever seen.
