Chapter 16 The plan

Lilly

It is so hard to sit here and pretend that I like this girl but we have already put the duplicate bottle of perfume in our room I am going to put it on in front of her and we will take care of this pretender. “Lilly have you gotten a chance to try the perfume I brought for you?” Amy says “oh no not yet I am saving it for something special.” I say with a smile “speaking of something special I think seeing as Jacks birthday is a 4 weeks we should have his party here?” Amy says “That sounds awesome baby what do you think dad?” Jack says “I think we can make that happen….. we have been away from the pack for a while tho and I will have to find out if my beta can handle 4 more weeks of duty” Luchain says “well you can use my office if you need to complete some work” Thomas offers “thank you son” Luchian says “so you have already adopted my mate as your son dad?” I say laughing “of course the more kids the better” Luchian says everyone laughs except Amy she pretends to laugh I can tell I wonder if anyone else sees it. “so who will be planning this birthday bash?” I ask “you and me of course” Amy says.

We start the plans for the Jacks ball and we are going threw the guest list I have been making sure that we are always in camera view or with someone. “have we invited all of the neighboring packs Alpha’s and Luna’s if they have one?” I ask Amy Thomas walked into the room “I think so we need to run these by luchian and make sure none are rivals” Amy says sounding so sure of herself “what needs to be run by dad?” Thomas says knowing it will anger Amy “The guest list to make sure that we are going to have a friendly event.” I say tilting my head back to look up at Thomas who had come up behind me he bent down and kissed me and scoops up the list. “I will take it to him and let you know.” he says “okay but let him know that we need to know as soon as possible because we need to send out the invites.” Amy says “no problem” Thomas says giving me another kiss before her leaves. Thankfully my heat has subsided.

King Luchian

I was getting some work done that couldn’t be handled by my beta back home when Thomas comes in. “hey Luchian I have a list of Guest for you to approve for the party.” Thomas says “okay hand it here and I thought it was clear you call me dad.” I say “oh you were serious I thought you was just saying that to make Amy more mad” Thomas says “that was part of it but I do hope for you to think of me as a dad” I say “thank you dad that means a lot to me” Thomas says. I start looking over the list there are no Alpha’s that are on my rival radar but I still look very carefully there is 5 Alpha’s in total and 3 have Luna’s they are all good friends of mine. “It looks good seems like Amy is not going to try anything else right now.” I say and hand the list back “be sure to make sure these are the only invites sent out other then the ones to Jacks friends check the invites before they are sent off” I instruct “will do” Thomas says as he leaves.

Jack

I decide to pay Amy a visit to her room I need to keep her thinking noting is wrong. I knock on the door “come in” she says threw the door. I open the door “hello baby I have come to see how you are doing?” I say “Everything is going great” she says I close the door and walk up to her and whisper in her ear “is this party part of the plan?” she moans “yes it is in part” she says breathlessly “will you please tell me the plan?” I ask her smiling “welll...” she lowers her voice “I gave her perfume laced with wolfs-bane but if that doesn't work. I have hired some guys to take care of her.” she says I wonder if it is those rouges we caught or if it is some new ones she hired. “you are so cunning baby I cant wait for my birthday so we will know if you are my mate.” I said when all I really wanted to do was kill her where she stood how could she be so bad. “me too my love” she says it makes my insides turn when she says that. “well baby I gotta go talk to dad he needs me to look over some papers I just had to stop in and see my girl first” I say hoping she wont ask me to stay “of course baby you want to stay on his good side” she smiles and winks I smile and leave. As soon as the door closes I frown goddess I hate Amy so much.

I decide to let everyone know we need to meet. We have been trying not to meet unless it is necessary and this is something we have to talk about so we meet in Thomas office. “hey” I say walking in “hey” Thomas, dad and Lilly say at the same time. “what did you need dad I say closing the door” giving my dad a look that he understood. I knew Amy was following me she thinks I cant see her or smell her. “I need you to look over these papers for pack business” he says as I lock the door. I cross the room and everyone leans into the desk so our heads are almost touching like in a football huddle. I whisper “she followed me so we are going to have to pretend that we are talking about other things” they all whisper back “okay” I then raise my voice “dad you missed the expenses for the guard training” I say trying to make it sound as if we are working “I did let me look” dad says “Thomas how are you with expense report?” I say “I am good with them, our pack reports are always perfect you need some extra help?” he says “That would be great we have a lot of papers to go threw” dad says I lower my voice again while dad and Thomas type on the computers to try and make it sound like we are working. “Amy admitted to the perfume and she has said she hired some guys to take care of her it might be the rouges we have in the prison I don't know” I whisper very softly. “I will check on that” Thomas whispers back “is there anything else” dad whispers “oh and she said my party is part of the plan I don't know how it fits in but I will figure it out.” I make sure to keep whispering everyone nods. We all sit in separate seats “sis how are the plans going for my party” I say back at a normal voice “they are going good Amy seems really nice” she replies while rolling her eyes. I try not to laugh.

Amy

I decide to follow Jack to make sure he don't slip up and tell his dad whats happening. He is not the best liar he has never lied to me cause he cannot lie I laugh at the thought. He is sooo gullible he thinks I love him all I want is his power. As I'm following him even now he doesn't know that I am following him he is so stupid how do you not know you are being followed. Once he enters the office I hear him greet those inside and from what I can here it is Thomas, Luchian and that b***h Lilly inside. Once the door closes I move close enough to hear what they are saying. Expense reports how boring Jack that stupid i***t asked Thomas to help is he really that's stupid I hear them typing I wonder why Lilly is so quiet then he asks about the party prep and she says its good and she likes me she is just as gullible as Jack dumb b***h. I decide I have had enough and I knock on the door. “who is it” Luchian calls threw the door. “It’s me Amy I thought I would come and let you know about the party receipts” I say knowing they are doing the report so they will need these numbers. After a long pause the door opens.
