Chapter 10 The Traitor

Alpha Thomas

I was about to mate with my lovely Luna when she began to swoon her eyes fluttered and she went limp I caught her. I turned off the water and dried her as quickly as possible I put her into a dress with some under garments I wouldn't allow anyone to see her naked even a female. I yelled for the guard to get my car ready I rushed her to the pack hospital. “Help Luna Lilly fainted I am not sure what happened?” I was frantic I waited so long to have her to touch her to mark her and mate her. “whats wrong with her doc do every test if you have to.” I said her body was hot too hot “why is her body so hot?” I asked they took her temperature it was 135 degrees our temperature runs hot but not that hot. “Take blood samples” Doctor Janny yelled after putting Lilly into a privet room. “keep these ice packs on her till we get back the results I packed the ice packs around her “please my love you have to hold on I love you your my life my everything” I wispered to her.

“Where is she what is happening” I knew from the voice it was Luchian. “we cant discuss Luna Lilly’s health to you, you are not on her contact list.” a high pitched female voice said. “I am her father you will tell me where she is” his voice boomed. “but your not on her list” she shrieked again. I opened the door to see Luchian towering over Mary her voice is so annoying and I could see Luchian getting pissed so I said “She is in here Luchian” he turned to look at me and he walked quickly to the room. “what happened” he demeaned looking at me like I failed her. “I don't know we got into the shower and we were talking I ran my hand down her back and her body heated up really hot and she blacked out.” I said feeling like I hadn't protected her. “what was her temperature when she got here?” he asked “135” I said “have they tested her blood for wolfs-bane?” he asked “you think someone poisoned her?” I asked. “with the fever as high as it is that seems to be what it would be but how had they done it?” the ice pack had melted so I was switching them out for fresh ones.

I pressed down the call button and Mary answered with that high pitched voice of hers “what can I do for you” she said “send doctor Janny in here now” I said sternly “ok” she said. After 5 minutes the doctor still hadn't shown up I pressed the button again “what can I do for you” Mary shrieked again “where is the Doctor I said now 5 minutes ago?” I said with anger in my voice switching out the ice packs again they were keeping her temperature at about 125 but that was still too hot. “The doctor is busy with a very critical patient and will be with you as soon as possible” she said. “who is more important then the Crowned Princess Your Luna?” I yelled at her ready to rip her head off “I’ll let her know again” she said and clicked off the call. “if that doctor is not here in 2 minutes I will have her head and yours” I growled as the Doctor came into the room “the results are back” “why didn't you come when I called for you 6 minutes ago?” I demanded “you called me 6 minutes ago?” she questioned “no one told me Alpha I am sorry I will find out what happened it will not happen again.” she said “what are the results King Luchian thinks it may be wolfs-bane did you test for that?” I said “yes we did Alpha and the test came back positive for it I have an antidote but it can take 24 to 48 hours for it to work depending on how much there is in her system if theirs too much she may not make it” she said “I will find who did this I swear give her the antidote now” I said

I had to make Luchian go back to the pack house he had been here for 12 hours and that's when her fever broke I told him I would call him if anything changed and he reluctantly left, but I have been sitting with her for 24 hours now but she hasn't waken or even moved “please my love you have to pull threw I love you I cant go on without you I need you” I whispered into her ear for the millionth time. I kissed her forehead. I had my guard test everything in the room everything she could have come in contact with they found the source her face wash also some in her soap and shampoo. I don't know what all she used I had it all thrown away and new sealed bottles brought in I had cameras put in every where even in our room and bathroom but only I will ever see the footage but it alerts me anytime there is movement I added extra locks to the doors and windows my mate will be safe. I will make sure she is safe she just needs to wake. We looked at the footage from the cameras in the halls and inside the pack house but all of them were wiped clean we don't know who went into our room but I will find out if its the last thing I do. I made sure that no one has access the cameras drives again just me and my beta anyone wanting to see the camera footage will have to go threw one of us. We locked the servers up in a secure location known only to me and my beta under lock and key.

I laid my head on her chest looking at her face I closed my eyes listening to her hear beating along with the monitor it assured me she was still alive she was fighting her way back to me I just knew it. I suddenly felt a spark shoot threw my head I felt a hand in my hair I opened my eyes and she was smiling at me. “my love you are awake in so glad I love you please don't ever scare me like that again” I said as I lifted my head. “I am sorry my love I don't know what happened my body got hot then it went black.” she said sweetly “someone poisoned you” I said threw gritted teeth “who would have done such a thing?” she asked “I don't know but I will find out it was wolfs-bane and it was in your shampoo soap and face wash I was hoping you didn’t get too much into your system and I got you all new things.” I told her I pressed the call button “how can I help you” shrieked Mary. “can you send the doctor in” I didn’t tell Mary that Lilly was awake. “yes Alpha” she said and disconnected. A few minutes pass and Doctor Janny entered.

Doctor Janny

I had just finished my inquiry about why the Alpha’s call wasn't sent to me and I found out it was Mary she never told me I watch the footage and heard her she didn't even try to call me then made up and excuse that there was someone more important. I guess she didn't know we record everything voice and video I also noticed that some of the wolfs-bane that we store here because it is the most secure place was missing. And so I looked at that footage as well and then it all clicked together. I had to tell the Alpha I was just about to go and see him when I got a call to go to Luna Lilly’s room so I went immediately. I knock before entering to see Luna Lilly awake I close the door quickly “How are you feeling Luna?” I asked Lilly. “I am good just a little tired”. She said. “well that is to be expected do you know what happened?” I asked “not really I just know I took a shower washed my face then my body started getting extremely hot and Thomas said something about wolfs-bane poisoning.” she said. “yes some one poisoned you.” I told her. “oh ….. why would they do that?” she asked I looked at Alpha Thomas and lowered my voice so low that only those in the room could hear and I unplugged the call button so no one could ease drop “Alpha I looked into the earlier indecent and well...” I opened the videos I downloaded to my tablet and showed him his face got read and his eyes began to flash silver. “I knew I should have taken care of that b***h” he yells.

Mary

I watched as Doctor Janny enters that bitches room and I felt uneasy so I pressed the button to turn on the call button speaker and listened quietly so far everything was good so far I could hear doctor Janny asking how she was feeling damn that b***h woke up I thought to myself then they said something about the wolfs-bane damn I was hoping they wouldn't figure it out s**t. All of a sudden the speaker shut off so I went close to the door so I could hear what was going on but I couldn't hear anything till I herd Alpha Thomas yell “I knew I should have taken care of that b***h” I freaked out did he know did he figure it out did I forget something. I looked up towards the ceiling then it hit me the cameras I forgot about the hospital cameras so I took off in a sprint they know I had to get out of here and fast I ran to the border……..
