Chapter 3 Meeting

As we walked toward the pack house I began to smell this wonderful sent of cherry wood and honey. My senses must be getting stronger now that I and my wolf are final I together I thought. Star agreed but was really excited like she knew something I didn't. We got to the door there were 3 other family's here they too need their assignment. Then the door swung open the sent of Cherry wood, honey was so strong and wonderful. “Whats that smell” a deep husky voice called out. Everyone looked to the ground as quickly as possible it was alpha Thomas. Beta Conner stepped out beside him “Alpha what are you talking about?” he asked confused “who does that fragrance belong to?” the husky voice that I now realized was the Alpha asked instead of answering the question the Beta asked. We all remained silent and looking at the ground as to not look in the Alpha’s eyes not knowing what he was talking about. Beta Conner asked him confused “what does it smell of Alpha maybe we can figure it out”.

That’s when Alpha said “strawberry and honeysuckles”. My back stiffened and I froze unable to speak he had said my sent. I was so scared and confused I didn't know what to do. That's when Gram-gram spoke up “Alpha that would be my grand daughter Lilly”. I turned red…. beet red did she just really say that had she really told Alpha it was me? Has she lost it I thought. Did he think I stunk I wondered his voice cut into my thoughts. “OOOOOKKKKAAAAAYYYY” he said loudly dragging out each letter “lets get these job assignments done” he walked towards us I was looking down letting my hair fall around my face hoping he couldn't see the red of my face. He went to the others first I was too distracted to listen to him then he got to me…..

Alpha Thomas

This sent I cant think straight Lilly it belongs to her I’ll do hers last I thought as I walked towards the family’s. I fought ever instinct in me to just run to her that sent and bury myself in it. Is this my mate I wondered I cant be sure till I look into her eyes. I tried to hid my excitement and started with the other wolfs first I started with Mary. “You are assigned to the hospital as a receptionist you will learn and eventually become a doctor if you do well” I said sternly. “Thank you Alpha” she said waking away with out lifting her head. “Now Jack and Mike” I called “both of you are to report to guard training you will be part of our worriers y'all have shown a lot of strength so do not disappoint me”. “I will check on your progress in one month” I said. “Yes Alpha” they said at the same time and left heading toward the guard training grounds. Leaving me, my beta, Lilly and her family as I got close to her my wolf got super excited is this what I was thinking I hope. “What is it Titan” I asked him. “That sent is wonderful” he smiled. I got closer way closer then I had to anyone else closer then an Alpha normally does to a unmated female. I seriously think she may be my mate I have never smelled someone this intoxicating. I had to know so I lifted up her chin sending sparks threw my hand making her eyes meet mine “MATE” Titan yelled at me. “But how she has no wolf why would she be our mate” I asked Titan “but she does” he said. “She has a wolf trust me” he told me. “How can this be” I asked puzzled. I smiled at her “seems we are mates” I said reaching for her hand then I herd a shrieking voice that sounded like nails on a chalk board “NO”.

As he drew near his sent had my wolf going crazy I wanted to look up at him but knew it was not okay to do so “hes the Alpha” I said to myself. I don't wish to die. Then he lifted my chin and sparks flew threw my body from his touch our eyes met and then star yells “MATE OUR MATE” at me excitedly. “But I just got you now I have to share you” I told her. She laughed “its OK ill always be with you”. The Alpha is so sexy his tan skin brown eyes with silver specks and blond hair his abs showing from under his shirt as it clings to his skin his biceps look like they could rip right threw his shirt sleeves. Then Alpha smiles at me “seems we are mates” he says in his deep husky voice sending a shiver threw my body. I couldn't tell if he was happy or not “NO” yelled a shrieking voice “she has no wolf she cannot be Luna” said Mary with hate in her voice she hadn't walked all the way off yet I guess. I guess she wanted to know why Alpha was wondering about my sent. “Excuse me” Alpha said to her sternly “who are you to judge her and say who is worthy of being Luna”.the next words she said worried me “I challenge Lilly for the right to be Luna by the laws of the moon goddess and our pack” she said with an evil grin. Thomas looked at me with a scared look on his face he knew that I hadn't been trained. Star smiled at me “I can take her” she almost laughed. “But I don't know how to fight” I said to star. “her wolf is weak I’m not” star told me. “Okay then I trust you” I told star “Mary I accept” I smiled although I hadn't been trained on how to fight with my wolf I trusted Star completely. So we walked down to the challenge area this is where all challenges for rank happen. She shift into her wolf she was reddish brown with blue eyes noting special.

I smiled “my turn” I said to her and I shifted in a few seconds this time shocking myself and those around me and didn't hurt at all even though this was only my second time the goddess must be smiling on me. There stood Star in all her glory beautiful white fur glistening in the sun the star on her head shinning brightly her purple eyes shocking everyone. Everyone gasped including Alpha Thomas Star smiled puffing out her chest. Star stood 2 ft taller then Mary’s wolf Scarlet. She smiled a sinister smile at them ready to pounce, But before the fight could start Mary shifted back “I'm sorry” she said crying “please forgive me I'm sorry I submit you are worthy to be Luna” she said with fear in her voice. I shifted back also. I looked at her thinking man Star must scare her and her little wolf.

Mary and I both were handed a dress to wear to cover ourselves. “I'm so sorry” she said “I will never talk bad about you again I really thought you didn't have a wolf” she said looking at the ground the whole time. “Its okay” I told her “you didn't know and wouldn't have believed me unless you saw Star”. “Lets go to my office” Alpha Thomas said taking my hand there were the sparks again “there are some things we need to talk about”. “Okay” I said and let him lead me to his office. I hadn't noticed that none of my family followed us to the arena. “Can my family come too?” I asked him “I need some support”. “You may bring your parents and the oldest member of your family” he told me as we walked back towards the pack house where they were still waiting in shock at what just happened, “mom, dad, Gram-gram” I said “can all three of you come with me and Alpha Thom…” “NO” he cut me off in a stern voice making me jump and jerk my hand from his “don’t call me Alpha just Thomas” he said taking my hand back gently. I smiled “I’m sorry” I said to him then continued “Can you all come with me and Al..” he shook his head “umm T….Thomas to his office please”. They all followed in shock well except Gram-gram she was smiling the whole time.
