Chapter 5 The Alpha King

I had been searching for her for years a little over 18 years almost 19 years by my calculations. The brown hair she- wolf that I used to be with before I found my mate my Queen Luna. She had left about a week after I met my Queen Luna Ever since my Queen Luna died while giving birth to our first son I wondered what became of her. My son broke me from my thoughts he will be 18 soon “dad Alpha Thomas of the Moon stone pack just sent an email he found his Luna and request your attendance to the Luna ceremony per tradition on Saturday” he told me. “Okay Jack we will head out tomorrow” I said that pack is about a 2 days drive from my pack crescent moon. I know how it is when you find your mate waiting for a full moon is hard I see why he chose Saturday to wait for the next full moon to be with her is hard others are lucky they can mark and mate anytime but Alpha’s had to wait on the moon.

We started the ride to Moonstone pack my wolf started to get a weird feeling and was kind of restless. “whats wrong with you” I asked Rown my wolf. “I don't know” he replied “it feels like something is going to happen I don't know what tho”. I brushed it off I will just have to be aware of my surrounding I thought as we road in the back of the black SUV. We used when attending events at packs. Hopefully what ever is eating at Rown wont be bad.

Lilly

As the day of the ceremony grew closer I was in my last fitting of the Luna dress that Thomas had brought over the day we met. I could see that he didn't want to leave me again and I didn't want him to leave but I understood the traditions and besides we had been video chatting every night talking about everything getting to know each other. I hate having to wait for the full moon and I know he does too. I thought to myself it must have been so hard back in the day before phones I laughed at the thought. “Perfect” said the seamstress I looked at myself in the full length mirror it was stunning it was a beautiful black silk with shimmering spots all over that looked like little stars the dress reminded me of the night sky. “Its beautiful” was all I could say as I admired myself in the dress.

The news of my being Luna has spread thew the pack like wild fire those who haven't seen my wolf were leaving nasty notes on our door. My family tried their best to keep the notes away from me but I knew I had seen a few of them saying things like human and you will never be my Luna a human would be better then you. I could careless what they say cause I love Thomas and he is all that matters to me. I went down for dinner in 2 more days I will no longer be here. After dinner I decided to start packing my belongings then my phone went off it was Thomas. I answered after 2 rings “Hello handsome” I said with a smile looking at him even if it was just on camera he was so sexy. “Hello my darling I wish u were here in my arms 2 more days” he said. Conner broke in “Alpha the Alpha king and prince are here”. “Damn” Thomas said “I know I just called but I must go greet the Alpha king I wasn’t expecting him yet I must go my love”. “I understand” I told him “soon we will be together and noting will keep us apart. Although he calls me love he has not told me he loves me and I haven't told him I love him yet I feel that I do I am just to nervous to tell him after we hung up and I went back to packing.

Alpha Thomas

I hated that I had to cut the video call with my love so short but I must greet the Alpha king. So I went down stairs to the door his black SUV was just coming up the drive to the pack house. With me and the whole staff waiting we watched as his car arrived I wasn't expecting him here till tomorrow but hes the king he comes when he wants to. It has been so long since I saw the Alpha king I wondered if he had changed any when he stepped out of the car he was just as I remembered tall muscular blond hair with brown eyes black specks I have never seen his wolf but hope to one day, he was followed by a young man with a strong build almost as tall as the Alpha king with blond hair and green eyes I noticed he didn’t have the specks of his wolf tho it made me wonder his age. “Welcome Alpha king” I said bowing. “Thank you Alpha Thomas for the welcome this is my son prince Jack he will be 18 soon so I am showing him everything that has to do with being king even tho I will be king for a long time if he ever needs to step up or go in my stead he will know what to do.” the king said. “Welcome Prince Jack it is a pleasure to meet you.” I said.

After introducing my staff I showed them to their rooms and had a maid ask them if they need anything and assigned her to take care of them for any needs. I looked at the clock it was now 10pm so I went to text my love Lilly but I saw a text from her saying I miss you and I will talk to you tomorrow good night it was sent at 8pm so I know she was asleep. So I went to bed. When I woke up I was so excited it was Friday tomorrow I get my Lilly my Luna my Love all to myself. I headed down to the dinning room where the cook had already made breakfast and the maids were setting the food out. As I was about to take my seat the King and prince came down. “Good morning Alpha king and Prince Jack I hope the room was to your liking” I said. “It is very nice” said the king. “I would like to meet your soon to be Luna today” he said sternly. “yes Alpha we can go right after breakfast I will call her family and let them know and make sure that they know of the visit” I said right away excited that I have a reason to go see my love in person.

I called Lilly right away and she answered “good morning handsome” she said. “good morning my love I have some exciting news” I said. “What is it?” she asked me. “The Alpha king wants to meet you today we will be over within the hour” I said to her. “really?” she said. “Don't worry it will be great” I said to her trying to reassure her. I hung up and got in the shower and put on clean clothes I was excited I get to see her I couldn't calm my wolf down he too wanted to see smell and touch our mate.
