Chapter 13: Passenger seat

Alexandra POV:

I am in the company right now and I was checking some designs for my clothing store. My secretary knocked at the door and ask if she can come in. She came in and showed me an email in her tablet that the Hernandez company wants to have a collaboration with our clothing store 'Ritzy Glitzy' and wants to schedule a meeting with me talk this about since they liked some of the clothes that we sell. I agreed to have a meeting and said to my secretary that email them what time are we having meeting about the collaboration. The Hernandez Company is one of the biggest and famous company in the world right now for almost a decade. They have some great designers and some great employees according to some articles like Rolling Stone and more. And I don't it's wrong to collaborate with them since no one knows my past with their CEO unless our old friends.

My secretary informed me that the meeting is today and I didn't tell Rondello since he's busy and I can take this on my own.

I was getting my things ready and some random number texted me.

Unknown Number:

I'm outside your company.

I was shocked but I already have a guess who it is. But I didn't know he has my number.

I rushed at the elevator and went out in the company and saw Zild leaning on his car. Since they or he scheduled our meeting in a Japanese restaurant.

"Hi, Mr. Hernandez nice to meet you" I greeted him.

"Oh, drop the formalities Alexandra we already know each other. And nice to meet you too" He said.

"I'm can we go now, since we are only here for the meeting for our collaboration" I said and was already going towards my car, until he spoke and said "Um, can I just drive us there since we are only going to the restaurant for our meeting" He said and looked at me shyly. "I mean okay since we are just only going to the same restaurant" I said awkwardly. After that I go towards his car and he opened the door at the passenger seat. After minutes of driving it was still silent inside the car since no one want to talk, until he asked me "Um, how are you?". I looked at him confuse but I just said "I'm okay, my life's been great. How are you?" I asked back. "I'm okay, I have been doing great to" he said awkwardly. "Um, I wanna ask you something can I Alexandra?", "Yeah, of course" I answer his question. "When did you go after our break up?" he said while avoiding my eyes, so that it wouldn't be that awkward if he stared at me while asking that after what he did to me back then. "Um, I was in the US I got to go to Harvard like I dreamed before" I said to him. "Oh, okay thanking you for answering my question" he said like it was the answer he was waiting for a long time.
