                     Chapter 4

"Yeah, friends." Luna agreed and shook hand with him.

"I might be cool but I'm more dangerous. Most especially now to humans. But don't worry about when it comes to you, I can recognize you even in my dragon form. So I won't hurt you." He smirked.

Oh! The word dangerous rang thrice in her ears before turning to Drake.

"Just like every humans. You all have both the good and bad ones right?"

"Yes."

His voice alone made Luna tremebled. 

What's she expecting before? To be all nice and all? His face alone can........keep it Luna. She cautioned herself.

"Are all the dragons dangerous?" She asked, folding her arms to herself. Damn! It getting cold! "Why are some of you bad?" Luna was getting relieved. She doesn't know why she's feeling comfortable with him even when he said that he's dangerous.

"Yes, some of us are bad. Maybe it because of what the scientists did to them." Drake answered. He noticed how she has been trying not to shiver due to the cold, he walked closer and removed his leather jacket and wore it on her.

"Here, you will be warm." 

"You don't have to, I will use......."

"Not to worry Luna. I'm okay like this anyway. I hardly feel cold since I'm a dragon. You know, I breathe fire. I'm always warm." He interrupted her. 

"Anyway, let's keep it for another day. It's midnight and you really need sleep. Take me to my room now." He ordered like he owns the house himself.

Luna walked faster to the second room beside hers and opened the door for him to enter.

"Here's your room." She spoke.

"Thanks. I will forever pay you for your kindness." Drake responded.

Luna left him alone to his own and walked to her own room to sleep.

Luna couldn't sleep cause she was restless again. She kept going from the edge of her bed to the other edge.

She just accepted a stranger to live with her. And he told her that he's dangerous.

What if she steps on his foot, was she going to bring out his true appearance?

She sighed amd finally drifted to sleep. 

The next morning, Luna took her bath and wore her clothes.

"I'm definitely going to beat those two fools to stupor for abandoning me yesterday. I would have died" Luna fumed as she packed her books into her bag.

She remembered she still has some books in the forest. Ohh! Her chemistry book and history notebook is in there.

As she walked out of her room, her mind drifted to Drake she accommodated last night. He might still be sleeping though.

She took deep breath before she taken her steps slowly towards the room. Luna knocked on the door and waited for a response from him.

Drake jerked up from his sleep when he heard the knock on the door. No one disturb his sleep.

Last night was like a war for him. He couldn't sleep. Drake kept his eyes opened because he was thinking of how his plan is going to be. How it should be carried out successful. 

He kept thinking till he finally fell asleep.

"I'm coming." He groaned lowly and got down from the window he sat himself to.

That was where he slept, the window.

Luna gasped at the red eyes gazing at him. They were so red like blood. Did she do anything wrong?

"Go..good morning." She stuttered to greet him.

"Good morning, thanks about last night" He replied. Just staring at her eyes made him calm down and his eyes changed back to its blue color. Sparkling.

His dragon's eyes color was Amber. 

"Hmm...I'm going out. I don't have food at home now. Can you come with me to the street, so I could get something for you?" Luna questioned.

Drake has been on earth but hasn't gone far. He only wandered around the forest and around Luna's house without her knowing.

Instead of talking, he nodded his head amd closed the door behind him.

"Let's go." He ordered but Luna didn't take a step.

"You haven't taken your bath, Drake." 

"Where can I take my bath? I haven't taken my bath since days now." Said Drake with a smile. He scratched his neck and adjusted his cloth.

He hasn't taken his bath for three days and he smells like he had a perfume on.

Ah! This man is something else. Really lucky to be a dragon.

"The...the bathroom is right there. You can use mine though but I will show you yours later." She pointed out to where he's going to take her bath and he obeyed gently.

He's way too far to be called dangerous but anyway, she hasn't seen his true color yet. Maybe he's lying or really saying the truth.

Really, when it's time, they will start preparing for the mission but that should be after she finish her exams.

Luna was getting impatient. She roamed around the room waiting for Drake. It been hours now and he hasn't come out.

"What are doing there? You're taking too long." Or is that how they bathe in their world.

She walked steady steps to the bathroom and knocked on the door. She was getting late and she wouldn't want to keep him hungry cause she's going to come back late. 

The door flung opened and Luna screamed at the half naked man in front of her. Dripping wet. She gulped.

Oh no! She shouldn't have come here in the first place.

F*ck! he looks so muscular. So broad and his body too beautiful.

"What are you still doing there? How could you have spent hours in the bathroom.." Luna almost yelled. 

"I'm sorry but the bathtub isn't working so I had to fix it." Drake replied as he stepped out of the bathroom.

"You should have used the shower." Luna suggested with a breathe out.

"What's the shower?" Drake questioned, shocking her to the bone.

"You don't know what shower is? You dragons don't........"

"No, we you bathtub instead. Larger one at that."

"The metal above your head is the shower. You just have to turn the knob knob on the wall and you water start pouring down on your body like rain." Luna explained.

"Alright! Thank you!" 

"Good." 

Luna taught him how to use the shower. She gave him a spare brush from the bathroom too.

 He was dressed properly and then he followed Luna out of the house.

It's time to explore. This feels like an adventure. Or a tour. 

The breeze blew gently at them as they walk.

Their journey took minutes before they finally got to a nearby restaurant.

"Where's this?"Asked Drake as he stared around his surroundings.

He hasn't been among human crowds before. His brows knitted when he saw the ladies in the restaurant drooling on him.

"He's handsome."

"Gosh! The girl was just took lucky to know him."

"Yeah, and to have him. I'm sure she's his girlfriend." They kept murmuring about them but neither Luna nor Drake was interested in their private talk.

A waiter came and asked what they would like to order for. 

"We will have noodles and fish." Replied Luna.

"Okay then." The waiter bowed and came back after few minutes.

Instead of eating, Drake stared at the meal and shook his head. He raised his head up, seeing Luna wanting to eat the noodles, he stopped her from eating her food.

He held Luna's hands, preventing her from taking the noodles.

"Are you really going to eat worms? Is that what you people call noodles?" 

"Worms?" Luna laughed at first before answering him. "They are not worms okay? They are meals. Food you eat in the body. Your meals there might be different ours? i guess you and the empire don't eat food like this. This Is called noodles here and not worms." She corrected. 

"Hmm...okay." He cleared his throat and left Luna's hands for her to eat. Michael took a fork and ate the way Luna eat.

His eyes widened at the taste of it. Then, he grinned and carried the bowl to his mouth without wasting time.

Wanting to drink the sauce.

Now, why's he behaving childish now? 

"Drake, don't do like that. That isn't appropriate. Just use the spoon, okay? People are watching and it's going to feel awkward if you eat like that." Luna scoffed as he dropped the bowl back to the table. 

"Fine. The damn food is just too good." He shrugged and grabbed the spoon beside him and began drinking the sauce.

"Or do you want me to feed you?" Luna teased.

"Huh? You want to feed me? Ah! No. I can feed myself. Don't worry." Drake rolled his eyes.

After the breakfast, Luna paid the waiter and led Drake out of the way.

"You will have to go home now. But do you know the way home?" Asked Luna as she searched for something in her bag.

"Yes, I do know my way home. I can fly home." 

"Fly home? In your dragon form or what? Hey! Don't do that here. Not everyone are too nice, kind and secretive like me. If you let them know who you are, you're dead." Luna cautioned, looking around to see if someone's listening to them.

He knows that already. He was happy he made the right choice in choosing Luna as his partner in this mission of his.

"Take these keys and go home. Don't let strangers into the house. It's risky. Especially you."

"Do you care about me?" Drake blurted.

"Yes! I do! Since I care about everyone, why won't I care for you too." Luna answered.

"Why do I feel like you're the one. Just staring into your eyes." Drake leaned in.

Luna breath almost seized when he felt him near. 

"Wha...what do you mean by that?" She stuttered.

"Just pulling you legs, lady." He laughed hard as he collected the keys.

Luna clenched her hands into a fist when she remembered about Nancy and julian.Those jerks!

And when she got to school, she'd went straight to the class, to their desks and banged it hard.

Just as she was about to talk, the teacher walked in and asked everyone to sit down.

"I'm coming back for you guys." She grunted and sat on her seat angrily.

The two looked at her with an apologetic look but she ignored them.

The man began his teaching but Luna wasn't concentrating much. Her mind was far from the class.

She was thinking of how Drake is doing in the house alone. Has he got home?

Suddenly, the wind blew hard into the class. Books scattered on the floor. Luna saw the whirlwind in front of her but it seems she's the only one seeing it.

Everyone was busy murmuring and picked their fallen things up from the floor.

Seconds later, it turned out to be Drake. He held a smile but was quickly replaced with a Shock.

"Drake!? What are you doing here?" Luna asked him. She was so surprised that she couldn't swallow her saliva.

How did he know she was here?

"Luna, are you okay? No one is bearing Drake here. Who are you talking to?" Nancy interrupted her.

Luna blinked and stared at Nancy then Drake.

"You didn't see anyone?" 

"She can't see me cause I made myself invisible to others except you." Drake chipped in. "I feel bored at home. That's why I looked for you. I will seat over there." He pointed to an empty chair at the back. In a twinkle of an eye, he speedily got to the chair and sat down like a student.

She wasn't expecting this.

She looked at him, her mouth wide opened but she was called by the teacher to give an example of he's explaining.

"I...I..sorry, I wasn't concentrating sir." Luna got up immediately, stammering.

"If you don't tell me one of the examples I mentioned earlier, I'm going to use that to deduct your mark in your coming examination." The man threatened.

Luna knew he's a man of his words.

'I don't know this. I wasn't able to even concentrate on this topic cause of him.' Luna thought as she stared back at Drake, grinning hard.

Luna could tell he was enjoying himself. Jerk!!
