A blood dropped from Luna's neck, staining her white top.
She tilted her head in confusion. How did she get wounded?
While she was still asking herself a question, Drake removed his black jacket leaving him with his white shirt.
Luna wanted to know about everything about this guy in her house. What the hell is this mission? Dangerous? Not dangerous?
She couldn't decided.
Luna could tell he was the one that carried her from that forest to this house. But wait! Did he see that huge creature?
He saved her anyway.
As if, he knew what was in her mind, he turned to her.
"Are you thinking about what happened earlier?"
Luna nodded her head vigorously. "Did you see that huge creature when you came to carry me?"
"How did you know I carried you?" He questioned back.
"Answer me first!"
"Fine, I didn't see that. All I did was saw you lying on the floor and I carried you. That's all." He was fast enough to create that lie.
"Ohh!" She muttered. Definitely, she's the only one who saw the creature. Who knows if she's going crazy.
Luna slumped to her sofa and used her palm to cover her face. She has started to see things she isn't supposed to see.
Her heart was beating fast like a party drum. She made up her mind to leave this house soon. It becoming haunted.
The wind blew hard and she had to shut the windows and door. It might rain soon.
"Come out lady, if you wish to see that creature again."
Luna turned and couldn't see the man no more. Where did he go?
She came out of her house and her jaw dropped.
Drake didn't hesitate to shift into a dragon.
The dragon's face was bright under the blue moon. His amber eyes shining brightly like the sun. The body red and only white at the belly. Its tail long enough to wrap her whole body and the teeth, as sharp as sword.
Luna stepped back as the dragon gritted his teeth.
"A red dra.....dragon in my house!! They exist! She's seeing one now." She began to mumble rubbish.
No wonder he asked if he can trust her.
The dragon shifted back again and it now Drake standing in front of her.
The blood was still dripping from Luna's neck as she spoke.
" Who are you again? Where do you come from? I..I can't believe dragons..... " She tried not to stammer.
The man looked at her like she has something on her face. He walked closer and used a finger to touched Luna on the neck.
"Are you scared seeing my dragon form?" He c****d his head like he was thinking of something.
Immediately, the blood stopped dripping and the injured place was closed up.
Luna has been staring at him all this while. Her heart was skipping many times. She has a dragon-man in front of her. She opened her mouth to talk about the magic that just happened but closed it back.
Magic? That's beyond magic.
"Dragons exist. Let's go inside first." Drake said to her, trying to remove the fear in her eyes. To calm her down.
Someone she didn't even know. She didn't even know where he came from. She's still confused.
"Will you kill me? Are you going to hurt me?" Luna answered back with a question.
"No" He replied sharply.
It took Luna minutes before she could regain herself.
"Who are you exactly? I don't know you nor where you're from." Luna protested.
She wasn't sure if she should still take him in after what she saw.
"You want to know me?" The man said and leaned in to her face.
"Yes, let me know." Her voice was husky in the silent of the night.
"I'm a dragon as you have seen me earlier. The Dracan Empire is where I came from." He began as they walk inside.
"Do Dracan Empire dwells on earth?"
"Yes. But you will need teleportation to get there. We had to hid from humans." Drake sat down, same with Luna as she listen to him.
"This is the reason for my mission, half of the dragons are captured by some scientists who found out we existed. Then, we live at the deepest side of this forest.
We didn't bother about securing the place because we heard humans are afraid to get into the forest not to talk of getting to the deepest side. We never knew some humans that are scientists has been in the forest, monitoring our movements and even joined us without us knowing.
After enough evidence they gathered, they call the other scientists to come capture us since we are going to be a good instrument to them. Luckily, my mother and some dragons escaped.
And few months later, those that were captured, few came back. They managed to escape. While some are still there which includes my father father and twin sisters. I'm here to set other dragons free especially my family." He breathed out after explaining. "And I want you to help me. That's why I kept monitoring you for sometime having know you're the right person." He concluded.
"Drake, this mission is dangerous. It's like putting my life at stake. What if the scientists start shooting guns or something. Or they captured me thinking I'm one of them."
"Just promise to help and I will protect you till the end. I will forever be grateful."
"I will help you. I will just do the best I can. I can't lay my life down for any dragon or whatever." She assured him.
"Thank you, Luna." Drake stretched his hand for a handshake and Luna took it. "I guess we are friends now."
Friends? Immediately?
That's cool though. Having a dragon as a friend.
What will she tell julian and Nancy if they find out that a man is suddenly living in her house.
Well, she knows how to deal with it. And she will do her best to keep Drake's secret.
He might even kill her if she decides to spill it out that secret.
Not after what he said about the dragons being held captive by her own kind.
