I feel burnt out and wired at the same time. I can't handle adrenaline in this state. Much less all of my other overactive emotions. Which brings me to Lily De Laughrey or Lily Kennedy I guess. She has two dogs with her when I approach the Ranch. She playing fetch with them. She straightens up when she sees me. The dogs aren't going to like me with Eve hanging over my shoulder the way she is so I don't get too close. I wait for her to walk my way.
"Did you escape again?" she smirks.
"Nah, I have permission this time," I shake my head. "I was wondering if I can ask you a favor. Just between us two. Dante and Ashley are kind of squares,"
"Sure," she laughs. "That's our thing. Your mom forgets she used to be fun once upon a time,"
