Local H- Bound For The Floor

I'm watching my parents interact with my little brothers. If they notice me standing here, they don't say anything. I step away from them and join Chance in my Dad's study. He's reading through some of the notes I've done on his mother's grimoire. I don't trust him not to take it from me. She warned me about that. I don't know if I'm dealing with the Lilith of this realm or a completely different one, but I made a promise not just to her. Lucifer seems to be fighting his own battle. Secrets seem to be piling up and I don't know if I'm the place where they should stay.
"You're not going to show it to me," he says, looking up at me.
"No," I confirm and take a seat across from him. I lift my legs up to wrap my arms around them.
