“Please explain again what we are doing here ?” Lucas asks me, looking out the window at the tree clad rolling hills. “This is like … super country like”.
“Doh, did you think werewolves lived in penthouses in big cities ?” I ask, looking at him.
“You do, but okay I,guess you are an ex werewolf”. He half rolls his eyes. “So we are going to the middle of nowhere, to find your ex and his father, who are werewolves and … kill them”.
“And keep our mouths shut about it, the reason I am there”. I remind him. “And remember, you are my fiance”.
“Yeah yeah … fiance who is not talking about killing people … Got it”. He says, turning when the GPS tells him to.
