I am standing in the background watching as Raya is sending that friend of hers, Lucas off. Even if she insists that they are just friends and have never been anything else, I am still happy to see him leave, and my wolf is too.
“Are you sure ?” The guy is glancing over at me, suspiciously, clearly underestimating how good my ears are. “I could stay here with you or … you could come with me home … I mean it is settled now right ? You can move on”.
