Emily’s POV Mera stood by the hotel room door, arms crossed, watching me with an expression that was part curiosity, part exasperation. “Emily, now you are done rambling to whoever, can you f*****g tell me what on earth happened last night? And don’t you dare say ‘nothing.’ I was worried sick!” I waved a dismissive hand, still in my robe, pacing the room like a caged lion. “It’s nothing, really,” I said, my voice dripping with mock calmness. “I’m just going to kill that son of a bitch.” Her eyebrows shot up. “Kill who?
