I watched as she stormed away and I could not help but admire her under the beautiful sunlight. I leaned against the rough bark of a towering oak tree, my gaze locked on Emily as she meticulously adjusted her camera.
She stood in a small clearing ahead, surrounded by vibrant wildflowers and the kind of untamed beauty that seemed to suit her perfectly.
She hadn’t changed much. Her golden blonde hair was tied up in a loose bun, stray strands framing her face as she bent slightly, trying to get the perfect angle for her shot.
