Lyra is in the kitchen when I find her, and Grey’s eating dinner at the small island. My gaze locks on him. He meets it as he chews his steak, like that piece of meat is the most important thing in the world. I keep staring, a smirk tugging at my lips as I hand Lyra the dress. “Package this for me and take it up to my room.” She takes it without a word and slips out, leaving just the two of us. The kitchen feels spacious with warm lighting and two doors. I walk past Grey, feeling his eyes track my every step, and stop at the second door.
