Elara's senses slowly returned, but her body was as heavy as stone. She could see someone hovering over her face, but couldn't hear what they were saying. She tried to move, but her limbs wouldn't obey. Intense pain vibrated throughout her body from her head to every other fiber of her being. She was helpless and at the mercy of whoever that person talking to her was. Little by little, her vision cleared, but not completely. It was a woman; a familiar woman, Elara could feel it, but she had no idea who it could be. The woman's eyes bore a cold, callous stare into Elara's face, one that scared her to death.
