She stirred in bed, lazily stretching out her limbs and rolling around in the bed from the depths of her sleep. Her muscles recoiled slightly as she sighed, then she opened her eyes. Elara blinked against the soft morning light dancing into the room through the curtains. She felt a bit disoriented for a few seconds, until her mind began piecing together fragments of the night before. She quickly sat up into an upright position on the bed, the sheets pooling around her waist as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. It was the motel room, she remembered and yawned, looking around. Rydar was nowhere in sight. Her head turned towards the already shut door leading to the balcony and to the bathroom. Those were the only two places he'd be in their tiny lodge. "Rydar?"
