When I Was Your Woman

"Racchi is in the other room" Xander calmly said upon entering. "Wait. What? Who?" Simon asked surprisingly. "Yes, the one and only Racchi Miller. The reason why this one here came back after six years" Rex answered as if nothing happens. "As I've said Rex, we only have an unfinished business. Nothing more and nothing less." "Let's see what's that business would be", Rex smiled. Xander get the glass in the table, pour a whiskey on it and gulp it right away. He doesnt know what he feels. Excitement. Nervousness. Happiness. Hatred. Intrigued. What happened when he left? Was she really the one who pushed his Mom and fell? Or are there any other things happened beside it? He pour another glass of whiskey again and again and again. He then decided to go to the balcony to breath some fresh air. He wanted to inhale all possible things that he will do to uncover everything and exhale all the negative thoughts he had and all the feelings of uncertainty.

Meanwhile, after Racchi had a shot of Bloody Mary, a cocktail which main alcohol is vodka mixed with other spices and flavorings, she felt a burning sensation in her back again. It seems that her lungs had been pinched with lots of tiny needles. She started feeling it 3 years ago-everytime she is so stressed or if she was able to take some medicines or alcoholic drinks or if she inhales smokes from cigars. She needed fresh air so she excused herself from the girls to go to the balcony.

The streets are busy. Cars are coming and going. Vertical structures are all over the place that says how civilized and progressive City C is. People are crosssing the streets in a hurry. Those are just few of the scenes that Xander is seeing from where he is now-at the 3rd storey of Knight's Bar.

The skies are clear and no sign that it will rain. The moon shines so brightly as if she is smiling towards everyone and you will feel in love while looking at it. The stars are blinking like Christmas lights. Few clouds are visible and moves freely. Oh how beautiful those creations are and how Racchi wishes her life is like them- no worries, no pains, no problems. Racchi sighs, inhales and exhales. The pain she is feeling deteriorates and she feels better. It is a bit cold in the balcony and she sneezes but it did not stop her from star and moon gazing.

Sneeze. Xander heard a sneeze. He looks in the right side where the sound came from. Then there she is. Racchi Miller. He looks at her while looking upwards and holding the riles. He can't tell if she is enjoying watching everything in the sky or waiting for a falling star to make a wish or just looking at it while thinking about other things. He knows that Racchi is a deepthinker. Xander come to the edge of the balcony he is in to get closer to Rachii but he made sure that she can't see him. There is a huge pillar so there is where he hide. He continue watching her. Her nose, her face, her hair. Though she lose some weight, but she still looks pretty. She becomes a bit skinny now but it made her look stunning. Then, he felt a feeling of happiness in his heart. A feeling of being home. He felt excited and he can hear a loud beating of his heart. "Racchi. Are you still the one who owns my heart? Despite the fact that you did something bad to my Mom, but it doesnt stop me from thinking of you always for the past six years".

He continued watching her. She's so close to him yet so far. He does not know who and what Racchi is now.

Xander saw that Racchi get her phone in her bag. "Yes, Mom. Are you done eating your dinner? That's great. Don't forget to take your vitamins. Yes, Im having a good time here. I just needed some fresh air so I come here in balcony for some time. We will be going home a little later. Mom, you know I have lots of things to do. My lovelife is not my priority for now. Don't worry about me, I'm happy even if I don't have a boyfriend. Yeah, see you this weekend. Bye. I love you."

Xander felt a lot better knowing that Racchi is not linked with any other man. But he felt a pang of pain realizing that Racchi does not need any man to be happy. Why would he felt this way? Is he still hoping that Racchi will take him back again? Or would he wanted to have Racchi in his life again?

"Uhmm, Ms. Racchi, are you alright? The girls wanna go home now since it's already 9 in the evening", Sarah said. "Yes, let's go now. I'm already sleepy also" Racchi answered. Xander saw the two women go back in.

"I'm going now." Xander declared to Simon and Rex. "It's still too early bro. You don't have a wife who will nag at you when you come home late" Rex teased. "Don't mind him Xander. Take care in driving" Simon bid goodbye.

Xander has decided. He will follow Racchi going back home so he will know where she is staying and can dig details of her past which is the reason why he came back in Country P.
