When I Was Your Woman

Looking at her in awe.

Not later than 5 miutes, Rex Jones comes in the VIP room where Xander seated lazily. "Whooaaaahh..There you are Mr. Biel. The man who did not show up for six years. How have you been man?Anything new about you?" Xander stand and they huged each other. "Nothing's new with me. Except that my name has a prefix now sounded like "doctor", Xander answered with a half smile. "How about you? How's business?" Xander asked. "Dad had expanded his jewelry business and I am the one managing three branches - at City L, City D and City B" Rex answered while walking towards the black-colored sofa to sit. "Where's Simon?" Rex asked while looking at the menu. "I had let the staff tell him that I am here. I just arrived five minutes ago. He will come here soon for sure."

"So, Racchi Miller. Why on earth did you suddenly got interested with her again? I thought you don't wanna see her face anymore. Or, maybe, just maybe you still love her?" Rex teased Xander.

"Because we still have unfinished business." Xander answered and looks nowhere. His heart and mind can't answer if he really still loves her. It's been six years but he always dreamt of her. Dreamt of her saying sorry for all the pains he did to her; dreamt of her watching from afar while she is happy with her new love; dreamt of her crying while cursing him because of him leaving her. But for six years, he did not evaluate himself how he really feels for her. Maybe because he is so busy with studies, work and business. Or maybe he just hated her so much that he cannot afford to think of himself associated with Racchi.

"Dr. Xander Biel. It is an honor for visiting my bar" Simon finally came and do curtsy to tease Xander.

Xander and Rex stand to great Simon. Simon hugs Xander then Rex. "It's been a while since the three of us meet so, let's make today unforgettable. Hahahhah..The drinks are on me." "Of course it's yours. This is your bar. We are high-profiled visitors. Hahahaha", Rex laughs hard also. " I will excuse myself at 4:00. I'll be back at around 6:00 then let's drink as much as we can" Xander replied.

Simon asks Xander, "What made you come back after six years? I thought I can only see you when I will fly to Country F."

"I have some personal matters that I am going to settle. I will stay here for more or less than a month. No one knows in my family I am here. So keep your mouth shut", ordered Xander. He doesn't want his family to know that he is here because of Racchi. He knows from the start that her parents don't like Racchi as his girlfriend because of their financial status. Biel's are already in business world even before he met Racchi and they somehow started to grow their business - before, it was just food chains and now, they have one hospital situated in between City C and City M. This hospital had been founded when Xander already graduated his studies in medicine because his father wanted him to be the one to manage it also. But Xander refuses to because he wanted to do things on his own - not from inheritance nor connections but from his own sweat, blood, determinations and dedications.

The three friends were having so much fun drinking and talking about each others' lives when they were away and have no time to bond. They talk about their past, their present and their future. "So, Xander, any girlfriend or girlfriends?" Simon asked. "No time for that for now. I've been too busy. I was busy when I was still here but I become busier when I am already at Country F." "Are you really that busy or your heart has been owned by someone else from the past?" Rex asked curiosly. "I am busy and I am going now. It's 4:08 and I am already late. I'll be back later." Then grabbed his coat and go out.

He drives his black Bentley car on the way to Staywell Laboratory. It was about 4:25 when he reached his destination. He parked his car to the same place where he parked this morning. While waiting, he can feel his heart beating fast and he can feel he is feeling hot. He higher the AC since he is about to sweat now. Random thoughts are in his mind again. What if someone is waiting for her to pick her up after work? Or a child will hug her the moment she came out of the building with the man that is waiting for her kisses and hugs? Can he look at that scenario without feeling anything? He won't know the answer unless he will see it with his own two eyes. But for now, his heart wish that that scene won't come to reality. But his mind said it's possible. For the long six years, he hadn't heard about her. And it is not impossible that she is happily married now because Racchi is simple yet pretty, understanding, loving, caring, sweet and strong.

20 minutes past 5:00 when a group of females go out from the building. Then his heart beats 4 times faster than it beats when he arrived a while ago when he saw the familiar face among the female staffs. Racchi Miller. In her white fitted jeans with a knitted turtle-neck long-sleeved dark skintoned tops . Paired with 4-inch black close shoes which made her look seductive and sexy, yet decent and classy. Her hair is in ponytail and is about to take off his eyeglasses. When the eyeglasses has been taken off, Xander can't help but opened her mouth in awe. He can't believe he is seeing Racchi right now. The woman who made him sleepless some nights but ignored whatever feelings he felt while being away. The woman he hated but the woman who made him feel empty inside. The woman he doesn't wanna see forever but the same woman who made him comes back to Country P just because of her message 6 years ago.
