priyanka's pov
As I wake up I find that the right side of the bed was empty and cold inclining that Osman left quite a while ago so I decided to leave as well. I entered the concubines chamber where I found Amina, I wanted to ask her when should I go to the dining room when she stopped me
"Today you along with Elizabeth and Helen will go to the seaport and escort princess mehrose back in the palace" I looked at her and raised my brow silently asking who princess mehrose was
"she is the daughter of Egyptian king Yaqub who is sitting on the throne because of our sultan as you should know" she told me "and she is here because queen sadika summoned her now go get ready ,her ship can arrive anytime today and you must be there when she arrives" she then pushed me in the direction of my room
I went inside and saw that Ayese was not there and Helen was getting ready I smiled at her politely and then my eyes traveled to the book sultan gave me and I immediately picked it up and sat down on the mattress, I opened it and on the first page was a poetry
Her dancing held more than what met the eyes
It was something so much more than the greedy baron ever enticed
The dervish eating the bread wasn't sure what was more enchanting
The magical silence on the field or how the world stopped
The power she possessed made his heart drop
The swinging of her body was anything but plain
It made everyone wonder who caused her this pain
I imagined yesterdays dance while reading this poem when suddenly helen interrupted me "Priyanka I think you should get ready before Amina start barking" she said that jokingly and I laughed inwardly agreeing with the last part
I sighed and decided to wear a beautiful outfit today because I was feeling alot happier than last night after reading the book sultan gave me
I searched for a beautiful outfit and thought that I would read more of the poetry once I came back today, my eyes soon fell on a purple outfit and head cape it was looking enchanting I picked up a fancy head piece to go with it
After wearing my clothes I added an anklet on my ankle and a chain on my belly and I untangled my hairs and left them in waves falling over my hips I then wore my head cape and left the room
I walked down the corridor to the front gate in order to find Elizabeth and Helen when I bumped into prince Wahab I looked up at him without showing that I was intimidated by him
He grabbed my waist and pulled me flushed against him I tried to push him but he was alot stronger than me and tightened his hold on me "my my Priyanka ...I was left speechless after I saw your little performance and even aroused if I may say , but wasn't it that you wanted the way you danced showing your tiny cute belly"
He then moved his hand slowly from my waist to the front of my stomach and said "the way you were moving it yesterday I wanted to do so many things to you" he caressed my belly and light pushed his fingers over it . I again tried to push him and this time he let me so I backed away a little from him
"Prince you can't scare me because I know that you can't even touch me like this in the presence of prince Osman and I will make sure you won't be able to touch me like this even when we are alone" saying that I left
I found Helen and Elizabeth outside the palace gates "what took you so long" Helen asked me I shook my head and we left the palace with ten guards and a royal litter for the princess
I was seeing sunshine after so many days I felt the warmth of sun on my body and relaxed we soon reached the bazar and I was mesmerized by the fact that how similar it was to my home country the vendors were calling out people to buy their stuff
As we passed by a tailors shop I halted because my eyes fell on the most mesmerizing dress I had ever seen in my life it had a big neckline and was white it was tight and fitting from above and was flowing below the waist like a water fall and it was so sparkly as if the tailor had powdered down a diamond and pour it over the dress
I never wanted a dress more than I wanted this one "wow this is one beauty" said Elizabeth from behind and I nodded my head in trance "it would look magnificent on you Priyanka" she told me and I imagined my self in it how my caramel complexion would glow thousand times because of this
I asked the tailor about the dress "it's 500 gold coins and before you say anything this dress was bought straight from Scotland I paid a heavy price for it so the this price is fair" I nodded my head and decided that I will arrange the coins
"Save it for me please" I requested and then we went back to our journey me and Elizabeth were behind others so we ran to catch up to them. When we reached the port the ship wasn't there so we decided to wait there
I was wondering around when. I found a man sitting on the side of the road he looked homeless as he was wearing torn clothes and his face was dirty
I sat down beside him and folded my legs to get comfortable "Salam" I said he nodded his head in a peculiar manner "so for how long have you been sitting here" I asked him but only after two or three minutes did he replied
He looked me in the eyes "it's not about me ..... I came here to see you my child.. listen carefully things will get tough for you it will turn harder and harder and you will find enemies at every corner but like a diamond have to go through so much to shine a woman have to go through the same pain and pressure to become strong"
Saying that he left I was sepeechless but decided to shrug it off and pray that princess arrived quickly "Parvati maa meri mushkil ko dur krdey maa ye taqleefon ko dur krdy" I prayed for myself as well
After waiting for more than 5 hours the princess finally arrived she was wearing a golden dress and she was definitely one beautiful woman . After Elizabeth greeted her both me and Helen bowed out head "princess your litter is ready" I told her
"Good slave" she said haughtily and decended down her ship with her head held high and climbed on the litter . We were passing the bazar when she told the men to stop she gracefully climbed down the litter and made her way to the tailors shop
She ordered us to stay outside and after a while she came out holding the same white dress I liked earlier
