When I woke up this morning, it was with a smile on my face. we had met out mate. She might not think that she deserves a mate, but come on, everybody does, and especially her, since her mate is me.

I get up, get dressed and head over to the dining hall. I am staying in the office building, there is a entire floor for visitors to stay in.

Outside of the dining hall, I luckily run into Beta Luke, I wanted to talk to him about the campfire I saw last night right off pack grounds.

"Hey wait up Luke, I need to talk to you" I put a hand on his shoulder for him to stop.

I bring him up to speed on the fire and the weird place it was located, and we decide to go investigate after breakfast. He didn't know anything about any campground near the pack border.

We enter the dining hall together, but before the door even close, he is jumped by Lauren, I guess their date went well, I though with a smile. I let them be, and walk over to Alpha Brandon's table. I quickly scan his table, and my eyes is stopped immediately by the girl with the marble green eyes and milk white skin. she is looking back up at me. And all I can think right now is " I see you, Angel"

Her expression changed and her mouth dropped. She heard me, mind link. I hadn't though about that with her, being from another pack and all, but since she is my mate, I guess we can mind link, thinking back, we were in wolf form yesterday, and wolfs cant talk, so obviously we were mind linking, and I am a f*****g Alpha now, I can mind link any one.

"you can tell me you name now, or do you need me to find out for myself" I mind linked her while smirking. She look paralyzed, so I decided to get her father to tell me discreetly.

He was more then happy to introduce me to his daughters. He started with his oldest Gabby, she had long golden brown hair, blue eyes, and she blushed when I send her one of my killer smiles. this is going to be fun I thought. I could see Luke and Shane looking at me, with a questioned look in their eyes.

Alpha Brandon continued, "Lauren you know, and this is Hadley and Alba, they are twins" he said, yes and very much into them selves I thought. Apparently Alba already had a mate, so I figured that I only had to stay away from Hadley's long nails, hair tossing and desperate stare. They looked very much alike, but Alba had freckles and Hadley didn't.

Alpha Brandon has seven daughter, so the next one was the youngest Maria, she was a cute little blue eyed girl, excited to shift later this year.

That there at end of the table, was the shy girl of them all Malena, if she could crawl under the table, she would have.

Finally, he came to the one whos name I wanted. The gorgeous milk white girl with the marble green eyes.

He walked behind her and laid his hands on her shoulder, I made eye contract with her and I swear my heart skipped a beat." this is our very special gem, Pearl. She is handpick by the goddess to help this pack, with her very special powers. She is unique. We believe, that with special powers like that, there is no mate for her, so she is to stay detached, to keep her energy pure.

"WHAT"!, Roman screamed in my head. I felt my smile fade and a very sadden feeling in my body. that's what she meant by not being mate worthy.

It was a shucker punch to the stomach. I felt mangled, when I sat down to eat. Pearl had stormed out, and I couldn't go after her. I wanted to, I wanted to hold her tight, fell her body close to mine, wanted to tell her, that everything was going to be okay. That I could fix this, I wanted to fix things for her, I wanted to see her smile, I bet her smile lights up the room together with her bright marble green eyes. I can feel the bond is getting stronger

Alpha Brandon snap me out of me dismantlement, "Aaron, you father and I, would like to have that meeting with you in a little bit. Could you come to my office around teen?"

"Well, Alpha Brandon, I already made plans with Beta Luke, to run the grounds after breakfast, to go trough the security of your pack territory, if you don't mind, sir. after lunch I am all yours".

"You think, there's anything wrong with the security in my pack?" Alpha Brandon asked with his brows down and an angry look in his eyes.

"No sir. but the rouge attack last night, was too easy to get under control, I just want to make sure that everything is fine and ready, should you get attacked again." I explained.

"I believe my warriors did a fine job, I know that you are from a stronger fighting pack, and did most of the fighting, but we can handle our own" Alpha Brandon replied with annoyance in his voice.

"I mean no disrespect sir. its just a feeling that I have to get out of my body" I responded

"Aaron is in charge of our pack security, and the safety of our pack has never been this good" my father cut in. " He has his own security company in the city, it has become one of the biggest security companies in the northern territory, he knows, what he is doing and what to look for".

My father isn't the biggest fan of my company, and that we turned the company into a pack, so him giving me this credit is huge.

"well, I guess it can´t hurt to have another set of eye on my grounds. Alpha Brandon growled. I could see his Luna had her hand on his arm, to calm him down.

"Thank you sir" I said getting up to leave, before he change his mind." I´ll be in your office 1300 hours sir".

I meet Luke outside by the office building, with my backpack with shorts and shoes and fully charged motion sensors, already connected to my phone.

We walk to the tree line, hid our clothes up in a nearby tree, and shifted, backpack on and we ran to the border, where I smelled the smoke.

There wasn't any smell of anything suspicious and no one to see. we shifted, put on our shorts and shoes and climbed that same tree from last night. we saw the campground, but there was nobody there.

Luke agreed with me, that a campground in the middle of nowhere was weird, and he wanted to let his warriors know, and have them do extra patrol out here for a while, and me being the security geek, that I am, got the motion sensors up all along the border line, no one would be able to get across this border, with out me knowing.

Running back to the pack village, we came across the rock, where I saw my mate. I slowed down to a trudge, just to take in the smell, but her scent was gone. The rock didn't look that special today, like it had done last night, with the most beautiful white angelic wolf sitting on it.

" That's the moon rock" Luke said out of nowhere. "you should see this rock under a full moon, it unreal. Couples would come here all the time, it is also a special place for the girl to be marked by their mate.

Lauren and I are going the day after the full moon ceremony. I just hope the others in the ceremony, doesn't have the same idea."

I couldn't help laughing, "for you sake I hope not"

"Hey. what if one just came here alone, does that mean anything?," I shot out, just to see if that rock, means more then just a pretty spot for her", I did see someone here yesterday by them selves"

"Oh, yeah, that would be Pearl, Kyle acknowledge. "She comes here on her midnight runs, I think she's depressed that there isn't a mate for her and also if there were, she it not allowed pure girl and all".

"But she does want one?" I had to ask. Roman was going crazy in my head, " just ask him, how we get our mate" he growled.

"That girl is just as boy crazy as the rest of them" Luke replied. " We have to get back, if you want everything set up in our system and lunch before your big meeting".

"you know what the meeting is all about?

"yes but I can’t t tell you, Kyle said with an apologetic expression on his face.

"lets go".
