15. Aaron

I woke up with the sweetest scent in my nostrils, I slowly opened my eyes, trying to blink and focus on where I was. I had a major headache, and my whole body was in pain, I felt like I had been hit by a truck. I tried moving my arms, and legs, but my body felt numb.  

I can see Kyle and Shane, they are standing with their backs to me, looking out of a window, they are both U-ing and Ah-ing. Its dark out, I wonder what they are looking at, I try to speak, but somehow I can´t get a word out. I fell really tired, so I close my eyes just for a second.

When I open my eyes again, the whole room it led up by the sun, I must have falling a sleep. That sweet scent is still in the room, I can´t quite place it, but I like it. Kyle and Shane are still here. I am hooked up to a bunch of machines, and I see some guy in a lap coat, shutting those machines down and I fell him pulling thing out of my arm and my hand. He smiles at me. "hey there, welcome back, how are you feeling?" he asks.

I try to speak but my mouth is so dry, that I cant really get a word out. 

He hands me a glass of water with a straw, I have never felt so helpless in my life, but I drink some water, and I can now finally get a word to leave my lips. "what's smells so good?" I ask.

He looks confused, he turns to Kyle and Shane, who just start laughing. "oh" he says and then join them laughing. 

"well" he starts, "you will find out soon enough" but for right now, I need you to try to move your arms and legs, so if you could try and sit up, please". 

I do what he says, thankfully I can now move my arms and my legs with very little pain, but my stomach however fells like it has been gutted by swords. I look down and see I am covered in bandage. 

"you are going to be okay, you will be sore the next couple of days, maybe weeks, depends on you activity level, you will have some nasty scars, so I recommend you go see a healer"  He said that last think with the biggest smile on his face.  

"right now, I think that you need to take you time to get out of this bed, go to the rest room, take a shower, get some food, and after that I would like to see you, so we can get you discharged. I have drawn some blood, so I am checking you infection level. I will have the result later. I am Doctor Sherman, have one of those two find me, when you are ready".

I was pretty sore, so just getting out of this bed, was a struggle. Kyle and Shane didn't seem to worry or even try to help or support me from falling over. It was even like they tried to slow me down, cause when I finally got out of the bed, I didn't have any problems walking or reaching, it was just my stomach area that hurt the most. Then they hid my clothes, even though I knew it was right there before. Food, they wanted me to chew each bit a hundred times, because they were worried that my stomach would be troubled with solid foods. 

Doctor Sherman wasn't any better, he seem to have lost my blood sample, so he had to draw new blood and have that analyzed, before he would let me got. My father had drop by to check on me, he filled me in on what had happened, the fight with rouge wolfs with silver canines and claws, and later that Alpha Brandon had let out an attack on the campground. Where they found more rouges tortured with silver, all led by a hunter interested in a pearls white wolf. 

My pearl white wolf, my mate, that smell, it was her, she had been here, but where was she now, I needed to find her, I needed to know that she was okay, I needed to know, what she wanted to talk about. 

I got up and left the infirmary, doctor Sherman yelling at me, to come by again tomorrow, for the results. Outside the fresh air was nice, I took a deep breath trough my mouth, breathed out and start smelling trying to find my mate, I sniffed, nothing, I went to the dining hall, No mate, I went to the school building, no mate, I tried a few other buildings, but no mate. I didn´t know what the other buildings was, so I headed back to the dining hall, and there she was outside with her dad Alpha Brandon, whom had explicitly told me not to touch his daughter. 

She saw me, and gave me a small smile and a light wave, her dad on the other hand gave me a hard angry look, grabbed around her arm and led her inside the dining hall.

It was around early dinner time, but I had just eating in the infirmary, and I don't think me stalking after her right now was a good thing. We wouldn't have a chance to talk in there anyway, so I went to my room above the Alpha office to relax, I might have a chance to find her later tonight.
