Elder Wong Gi As Master, The Power Of Devouring

It was high noon and the sun was shining brightly in the sky, disordered screams sounded out, both within the forest and on a marble road. It was now more than one and a half-hour since the starting of the martial school disciple examination, and only 30 minutes of time was left remaining. The majority of participating disciples had already passed the halfway mark a long time ago and was now getting very close to the mountain top.

Among these groups of disciples that were long passed the halfway mark and heading up the mountain, was the appealing Zin Len, who was the pretty commoner girl that Jia Lin had recently taken a liking to, the murderous Nix, the monkey face and pale face youths and a blue blur that was minutes away from reaching the top. Around the blue blur splitting wind sounds sounded out continuously, these sounds were caused by the speed at which the blue blur was moving and if one had good eyesight, they would come to see that this blue blur was actually a young man dress in deep blue robes.

On the back of his robe was the character Ken which stands for the Ken Clan, which was a small clan that was located in the deeper regions of Muo city. Even so, though it was just a small clan, their clan’s history and background weren’t something that one should easily underestimate. It was said that the clan head had long since reached the spirit awakening realm but to how true this rumor was no one knew.

“Haha, this is the easiest of examinations I’ve taken in all my life. All of these country bumpkins will be my stepping stone into the Flying Sword Sect” the young youth which was the blue blur laughed wholeheartedly as if he had no competition whatsoever in this examination, but if that was what he really thought, then he had a next thing coming.

“Haha, this young one, what is your name. This headmaster wants to know which family you stem from" chuckled headmaster Qin Long as he saw Jia Lin stumbling out of the Air Space Formation. All six elders turned to look at Jia Lin who was brushing off the dirt from his robes, he faces showed that he was not pleased with what had just happened but he chose not to say anything "This old son of a b*t*h he could've lessened the pressure on there but hell" grumbled Jia Lin as he eyed elder Wong Gi who was still smiling.

After brushing off his robes, he then turned to headmaster Qin Long, bowed his head in greetings, and said “This junior’s name is Jia Lin and I’m not from any family within this area headmaster" Jia Lin’s attitude was admirable and he didn't possess on the air of arrogance about him which caused a warm feeling to be birthed in the heart of elder Wong Gi. After hearing what Jia Lin had said, headmaster Qin Long only nod his head while looking over at the old woman that was eyeing Jia Lin from the cover of her eyes, the headmaster didn't say anything but when the elderly lady saw him looking over at her, she snorted coldly and turned away, paying no further attention to Jia Lin.

Naturally, Jia Lin picked up on this but choose to ignore these matters of the older generation. To him, he thought that the elder lady hadn't approved of his strength, but what he didn't know was that this elder lady hated him secretly due to the fact that he was on an unforeseen dark horse for her nephew. "You're quite the skilled one aren't you. To think that you're so young yet possess so much fighting spirit haha" headmaster Qin Long chuckled without holding anything back. Seeing his attitude towards Jia Lin, five elders smiled except for one, which was the old woman who had her nephew participating in the examination as well.

It wasn't that she feared that her nephew wouldn't pass the examination, no, what she feared was Jia Lin taking away his spotlight and all the resources that he would've gotten if Jia Lin wasn't there. Her expression darkens a little but still, she chooses to keep quiet. "Head Master praise Jia Lin too much. My skills are only limited" chuckled Jia Lin, because due to what the headmaster had previously said, he knew that he had caught his eye thus it would only be smooth sailing from here on out. "To think that you are so skilled yet doesn't possess on the air of arrogance about you whatsoever. This is truly administrative" continued headmaster Qin Long, "Your talents are truly surprising, starting from now, you're officially a member of my South Wind Martin School and will be placed in the Heavens class. You don't have to go through the examination anymore and can just directly enter from here, how does that sound young one"

All five elders were shocked except for the green robe elder Wong Gi who was bursting with joy. Some of the elders only shook their heads while others turned a blind eye, the elder lady gritted her teeth as if she wanted to chop both Jia Lin and the headmaster in two but alas she couldn't say anything. After all, it wasn't on the elder who had said these things but the headmaster himself, so if she dear to oppose then she herself might have to face some form of punishment thus she could only grit her teeth in anger.

"This sounds wonderful headmaster Qin Long, the junior is over the top with joy," said Jia Lin with a huge smile on his face, though inwardly he was calm because he had already expected the headmaster to say such things, if not, then he would've truly been surprised. "There are many students in my martial school, 20 thousand to be exact plus these three hundred that are going to be added into the mix, also there are 56 elders in total. When you get to the main school on the mountain top I will no longer be the headmaster which you think controls the school's operations but on elder placed with the 56 elders. That being said, you will be placed under the guidance of elder Wong Gi for training in a martial way, he will also be the person who will give you your resources and other related things"

"Not the headmaster" muttered Jia Lin as he looked at headmaster Qin Long for a long while before turning to elder Wong Gi and bowed "Disciple Jia Lin greets master" even though Jia Lin was somewhat disturbed in his mind about some of the things that headmaster Qin Long had said, he didn't directly ask any questions about it. After all, his goal was to get stronger, not to go around asking meaningless questions. "Haha very good. After everything is over, I'll explain all that you need to know" said elder Wong Gi with an uplifted spirit.

"Yes, Master" Jia Lin once again bowed his head as on exhausted feeling suddenly washed over him, which caused his Mists Qi to fluctuate chaotically. Seeing this situation, elder Wong Gi flicked his sleeve as a round pill suddenly shot out towards Jia Lin who caught it with ease, and as he opened his hand, a strong medicinal scent spread outwards to fill the eternity of the room. The medicinal pill was dark green and completely round, and just by looking at it, one could tell that this pill was of medium grade quality. "This is a medium grade energy replenishing pill. It's Qi restoration properties are strong, use this time to recover your strength, the first examination is concluding"

Seeing this event, headmaster Qin Long smiled even more because to him, it seems that he had made the right choice to place Jia Lin under elder Wong Gi's protection. "That's a medium grade pill, that Bastard" murmured the elder woman with hate in her eyes. "This old man really is surprising, to the thing that he can just easily give away a medium grade pill just like that. I wonder what else does he have" thought Jia Lin as the sensed the strong medicinal Qi that was inside of the pill that was in his hand. "Many thanks, Master," he said as he placed the pill inside of his mouth and swallowed.

After doing so, he went to a corner, sat down crossed leg, and started to meditate. As the pill went down, Jia Lin could feel a burning sensation throughout his body, restoring his lost strength at a rapid rate. The energy within was both calm and savage at the same time but nonetheless he had been through worse situations so a little savage energy from a medicinal pill wasn't Worth even a drip of joy Lin's sweat. As the energy of the pill continued to flow, Jia Lin's meridians suddenly tremble as waves after waves of black Mists roared into action, sucking in all of the medicinal energy in one go.

Jia Lin's body shook as a dim black hue glowed off of his skin, which sent out a shocking energy undulation which causes everyone present in the room to stir at him in shock. Jia Lin was oblivious to what was going on outside of his meditative state, he only tried his best to absorb the energy from the medicinal pill. "How is he doing that" shouted the elder lady as the disdain in her eyes slowly faded away, elder Wong Gi also stirred in shock as well as headmaster Qin Long "It seems that you've gotten yourself a genius elder Wong Gi" chuckled the headmaster Qin with a proud smile "I... It seems to be the case headmaster" replied Wong Gi as he sensed the shocking devouring force that was now twisting the air around Jia Lin's body.
