Elders In The Main Hall

It was high noon, the rays of the sun shined out across a high mountain top hidden within a thick white mist. Thick profound Qi could be felt from all directions, the feel of which was shocking. If one stood on this mountain top and look beyond it, one could also see hundreds of other mountains which formed a chain for hundreds of miles, filled with hundreds of thousands of beautiful building and pavilions that were made out of jade and marble stones.

One could also see numerous training grounds such as killing formations, gravity fields, enlightenment areas, and other such wonderful martial cultivating areas. The sight of which was shocking and breathtaking at the same time. On some of the fields, one could see hundreds of disciples practicing in a martial way, elders passing on the Dao of formations and martial cultivations and paths, there was also this one area where a shocking aura of medicinal profound Qi was vibrating in, the aura was thunderous to the extreme.

In that area, the smell of medicinal pills could be smelt from miles away, which made the profound Qi in one's body boil. In some hidden areas were strong energy fluctuations, which were either restricted areas or hidden experts. The sight of it all was truly shocking, this was the true South Wind Martial School. In the main hall that was three-story-tall, stood 56 elders, their faces showed a shock expression while also some awe in it, the now not headmaster but elder Qin Long stood in the center of the main hall explaining the happenings of the recruitment examination.

The other six elders that were there with him stood off to the side, barring witness to the event but they didn't have to because the elders and every single person inside of the school and around the mountain could feel the shocking powers and changes that had happened. 

But what shocked the elders to the core was that this power actually came from a boy not yet 20 years of age, this development was truly one to be shocked about. The question in most of their minds was, where did this boy come from and how did he come about to gain these powers.

"This boy, where did he came from"

This question was asked by the high elder of the South Wind Martial School, his cultivation base was deep and profound. He was at the 1st level of the king realm and to most, this realm was like a God realm to them. The difference in martial power was like the heavens and the earth and it was said that the high elder had the potential to make a breakthrough at any time. 

But this was only an assumption, speculation on their part, this was because the high elder had been stock at the first level of the king realm from almost 300 years now and had not taken another step since then.

"This we do not know high elder. The first time we took notice of him was in the forest path of the first trial, his speed and his age and cultivation level is amazing, thus among other things we made him the only heaven class student"

Elder Qin Long reported with a calm face, it had been three and a half months since the event outside of the large gate and the appointed time of the meeting of the elders was at hand.

"This boy is truly a hidden dragon amongst men. All these abilities, if only his body could support it then even if we had come, the end result would've still been the same"

On elder in white robes said with a cold expression on his face. Elder Wong Gi looked over at this elder but said nothing in the matter. He was only waiting to hear the final results of this meeting and that was all that he truly cared about.

"Haha the heaven class students are truly something out of this world aren't they haha" The high elder continued to laugh, one could tell that though he was shock and his mental state had suddenly turned upside down for a few breaths of time, one could still see that he was quite happy. Though the events that had occurred were shockingly overbearing, that was only it, no one died but they did get a shocking young man to grow into a war God of death.

Thinking this made the smile on the high elder's face grew even larger. "Heaven's competition will begin in one and a half years from now, we need all the monsters we can get to fight against the other sects little demons. This boy can add to the numbers" 

A bright light began to shine in the eyes of the rest of the 55 elders who were listening to the words of the high elder. When they thought of Heaven's competition, their blood began to boil with a desire to do battle but they quickly pushed down that will and desire as soon as they surged up.

"Then how do we go about growing the boy. His potential is truly great"

An elder asked with a profound light in his eyes. The air around him twisted as if it was under a shocking pressure that was being released by this old elder.

"A good question indeed. This boy follows a Strange path, that black mists are truly deadly and his Dao foundation his firm as well"

Replied another elder while rubbing his chin. His eyes were closed but one could feel a shocking mental wave in the air, it was as if this mental wave was the eyes of the elder and any and everything under its waves was within the field of vision.

"He has Wong's disciple, he was  under my watch thus his growth is also under my watchful eyed as well"

At this moment Elder Wong Gi stepped out of the crowds of elders with a strange expression on his face, which showed that anything regarding Jia Lin was up against him and only him. Elder Qin Long was still in the center of the main hall as he watches elder Wong Gi stepped out. He smiled for he knew that though Elder Wong Gi wasn't as strong as some of these older frogs here, his heart and mind were firm and could not be shaken by anything.

Some of the more capable elders look at him while others didn't even turn there heads in his direction at all. From this alone, one could tell the level of disdain these elders had towards him. The elder with his eyes closed turned towards Wong Gi, still rubbing his chin, and said

"I mean no disrespect when I say this elder Wong, but this boy and his capabilities are far out of your teachings. He alone can put you to shame, given a couple more years to grow that is"

The closed eyes elder kept his hands folded behind his, his mental energy wave rippled in the air like sea waters, his aura surging. It could be seen that he wanted to force elder Wong into retreat, even if he was the one assigned to the growth of this boy, so what. The potential of this boy was now beyond is capabilities thus by right of the laws within the school, Jia Lin should be assigned someone more worthy to grow him and show him the truth of the Dao.

All of the 54 elders where watching elder Qin Long and Wong Gi standing in the center. They voiced their comments regarding the matter of Jia Lin, it was as if to them Jia Lin would not refuse their teachings if he was here and was to choose between them and elder Wong Gi. 

Elder Wong frowned, he looked at the closed eyes elder as he sent out his divine sense in the air as well. This was to show that, even though the closed eyes elder was much stronger than he was, he wouldn't back down even if he was to die here today. This was the undying personality of elder Wong Gi, this was his Doa, this was his road to travel on, the path of the undying Will.

"The boy is assigned to elder Wong through the proper procedures, 50th elder please reconsider" the voice of elder Qin Long sounded out at this moment, he was now frowning as well but still kept his emotions in check due to the closed eyes elder who is also known as the 50th elder being of a much higher position than he was.

"This matter of him being in Wong Gi's guidance is over," said the closed eyes elder with a shocking pressure, it could be seen that he was getting impatient with the duo's arguments.

"SNORT. You think that just because you are stronger than I am, that means you are qualified to teach him haha, how foolish, how arrogant" elder Wong's voice boomed in the large hall, in his eyes could be seen a mockery that showed that whatever it was that the 50th was saying, was complete foolishness.
