Saying I was shocked will be an understatement. My jaw dropped listening to him.
"You are joking, right?" I asked him, not believing him.
"Do I look like I'm joking?" he said seriously. That means he mean it. Oh God, I want to tell this news to Kabir right away.
"No sir," I told him.
"Then be ready starting tomorrow to assist me," he said to me in a authoritative tone.
"Yes sir," I said to him.
"You may leave now," he said. I closed the door and marched my way to Kabir.
"What happened? Why are you running?" he asked.
"I have a great news," I told him happily.
"What is it?" he asked me.
"The new CEO asked me to assist him," I said, and he was shocked.
"What? Are you serious?" he asked me, and I nodded my head with a full teeth smile.
