Amira concealed herself behind the bush, observing the guards as they moved back and forth around the mansion, suspecting they were searching for her. Suddenly, fear gripped her, yet to achieve her goal, she knew she had to exert every effort without drawing attention. This was her moment, this was her opportunity. As soon as she noticed the area was clear of them, she slipped out and tiptoed to the back gate, where she had observed. However, a challenge arose; it was secured, leaving her with no choice but to climb. Before deciding to climb, she carefully assessed her surroundings; while doing so, she felt a hand firmly grasp her once more. Amira felt her heart drop into her stomach, remaining frozen in place, overwhelmed by a fear that kept her from turning around. “Shit.” She spoke quietly to herself before turning around to face the same guard who had prevented her from escaping during the wedding. “You? Why are you following me?” Amira muttered angrily, breaking free from his hold. Soon, she noticed footsteps approaching, and the guard pulled her, concealing her in a hidden corner. “Have you located her?” The two overheard each other asking a question. “No, I’m still searching.” The other responded, and with that, they parted ways in search of Amira. "It is for your own good, Miss; going out there is dangerous. It is better if you go in there so that when the best time to run comes, you can run uninterrupted." He spoke, and Amira did not say a word in response. What did he mean by "right time?" Was he a proper guard? Why was he so handsome and different, as if he came from a wealthy family? Who was this man? While Amira was trying to figure it out, the guard contacted the other. "Come over and take her; she attempted to climb the fence.” With that, Amira was held by the other like a small child. Amira felt betrayed by the guard's snitching on her whenever she tried to escape. She maintained her composure as she followed the other bodyguard, making her way toward the entrance that led to the expansive hallway. They approached the elevator and stepped inside, but Amira continued to grapple with him in an attempt to break free. However, she felt a twinge of fear, aware that she had attempted to escape once more, and that doing so in the future would be more difficult since her intentions had been carelessly exposed. “Will you just let go? Stop touching me like that, or I will scream." Amira shouted dramatically as the bodyguard released her hand, yet he kept a watchful eye on her to ensure she remained within his sight. After that, he opened Andrea's room door and let Amira in. “Boss, I have returned her.” The bodyguard bowed and, upon Andrea's dismissal, left them alone. The silence between them made Amira feel both uncomfortable and tired. Her brow furrowed as she realized her plan had not succeeded. Nobody how he takes to stop her, she won't stop getting away until she's finds what she wants. “I love it when you run. I would like to see it again.” Andrea whispered, with a smirk on his face. He approached her like a lion ready to pounce on his prey while Amira vows to stay still but it broke as he intimidated her with his appearance. “What sort of a sick person is he?” Amira wondered, she had anticipated him hitting her as she attempted to run away even after marrying him, but instead Andrea drew her Into. his embrace, giving her a warm hug. Amira remained frozen in her spot, why was he hugging her? What she had expected wasn't what was happening. She felt uncomfortable, and also emotional. She hadn't been hugged by anyone except for her friend, who does that occasionally. She felt her brain cells shut down, unable to think. His manly scent filled her nostrils, so good that it went intoxicating. It took her seconds before she felt her tongue and then said “let me go.” In a instant, Andrea did let her go, but he head her finger, admiring the wedding ring on it. Amira stood there anticipating the next thing he would do, so he drew her finger to his lips and give it a soothing kiss. Amira opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Then another knock was heard, which made Andrea withdraw from her. “Come in.” he answered so coldly that Amira was confused of how fast he could change personalities. There the maid who Amira had followed earlier to direct her to her room show up with another maid. She was quite young, beautiful. “Boss, this is the new maid, you asked me to bring.” “Okay Kira.” He mumbled and turned to the new maid, shutting her a cold look which sent shivers to all of them including Amira who just saw this side of him. “Your name.” He snapped, posing fear in her. “Brenda, Bre-nda Jean.” She stuttered, her gaze meeting the floor. It went quiet among them again, which was quite uncomfortable. Then in order to break the silence Andrea added. “Brenda, henceforth you'll be my wife's maid. When I said maid, I mean personal maid. You should be there with her, or there for her incase she needs anything. Is that clear?” “Yes sir.” Brenda bowed, shivering like a soaked chicken. Amira who listened to this becane irritated, why does she suddenly needs a maid. She open her mouth to speak but was immediately cut by Andrea. “My words are final, no arguments. She'll be your maid whether you liked it or not.” Amira pursed her lips in anger, throwing glares at him which Kira found strange. According to her, Andrea was greatly feared, even by his passed lovers, but his new wife was a daring kind, for a woman to run away during her wedding and also her wedding night. “you may leave!” He ordered, and then the two ladies left, leaving them both. He then turned to Amira, his face still cold and irritated then turn into a cold smile. The next thing he did shocked her, he scooped her in his arm, and walked out of his room ignoring her struggles. “put me down!” Amira screamed, hitting him. Her face reddened in embarrassment as she was on his arms, and instantly he flung her on his shoulder, Amira was as light as a feather to him. “Shush!” He hushes, ignoring her rebellion. Then he opened her given room, went to the light switch, then turned it on and kept her down. Amira became more angry, embarrassed she could believe he had treated her like that. “I'll forgive you for what you just did.” Andrea mumbled, then placed a kiss on her forehead. With a wink, he left her room, locking the door from the other side which scared Amira. “Let me out! Please let me out!” Amira screamed in fear, banging the door so loud, while was she lock ed, and what in the room made her so scared? Andrea on the other hand, stood there with a smirk of satisfaction, which this proved his control was almost complete.
