" Move away from her you ######" I wanted to roll my eyes when Katherine literally had to pull Humza over me .

Talk about moving ….

" Humza baby….are you- are you cheating on me " she fake cried, batting her big fake eyelashes.

" Technically I am his wife " I state leaning a little toward her .

" Shut up " she snapped .

" Okay " I stand in my place .

"Last time I checked , we weren't dating " Humza gave her a bored look with no surprise on his face .

" Of money ?" I ask, raising my eyebrows with a genuine question.

She looked like she was ready to snap my neck .

" Okay " with that Humza led her outside . My heart squeezed at disappointment .

I was about to turn away sadly when I heard the door slam shut .

" Sit down , I will bring your medicine " without further words he stormed upstairs and I did a mini victory dance inside my head .

I was speechless….I was crying in pain ...in agony and humiliation and all she thought was funny ????

I put down my bag on the table trying to ignore the weird stares

Slamming the washroom door open , I cried bawling like a baby…..

" You okay ??" A girl wearing a pink hijab is almost my age though I haven't seen her before staring at me with a concerned face .

I nodded but she didn't buy it …..

" Yeah. . " she sighs, keeping her bag in the dry space , taking out a tissue , and handing it to me .

" Take it…. It's tough out there I know " she shrugged …

" Thank you " I said hoarsely , dabbing it under my eyes .

" You, what're your rumours ??" She asks, leaning on the wall with a curious look. Now that I am calm a little , she is pretty would be an understatement . Her height is just like mine and with her attire …. She looks more religious than me .

Yet there was a sense of calmness on her face .

" What do you mean? " I asked with a little frown .

" You know...they hate you…. Spread rumour … you breakdowns and leave the school " she shrugged casually .

" H- how do you know " I shutter in surprise.

She smiled and said, " Hi…. My name is Myra, " she extended her hands .

We both walked out of the bathroom smiling and laughing together…

It's so weird sometimes the people you want to rely on pull back their shoulders and the people you don't even know let you rest your head on their shoulders .

At night….

I was sleeping in my room when I felt thirsty , I groaned as I saw the jug of water was empty.

Why , why now I have to walk all the way to the kitchen and bring water for myself, dramatically I sigh and throw my blanket angrily and walk toward the kitchen .

I halted in my steps when I saw a figure slowly walking toward the kitchen .

Because I know Humza is not in the house , he said he has some work that won't be coming tonight .

I look here and there for weapons , where the hell are guards??? They are getting fired by Hamza in the morning if I survive to tell him it's their fault I need to protect myself .

I slowly grab an umbrella , don't ask how I found it.

I walked slowly toward the kitchen where the thief was trying to open the fridge.

" Attack! " I shouted and was about to hit his head when in a nick of time he turned around and grabbed my hand and slammed my back toward the fridge.

I couldn't see his face , since it was dark.

" Thieve !!! Thrive!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs only to be shut by him when he put his hand on my mouth.

" ummm" I tried to move from his grip.

" Shut up , who the hell are you and why are you shouting like a madwoman " He hissed and I kick in his sun shine.

He groan and laid on floor " You stupid girl " He gritted angrily.

"Help, ! Help ! " I shouted at the top of my lungs.

Immediately Granny and other staff came downstairs and the switch got on automatically .

" Human are you all ri- " before they could finish their eyes landed on the man , their eyes widen as they gasp covering their mouth.

" Sahil " Granny shouted hurriedly running toward him , my eyes met his angry one and quickly something ignited in me too .

" You ??" We both shouted in rage .

" What the hell is going on here? " Sahil, my sworn and only enemy I have despised since childhood, barks at my face .

Though he was two years younger than me but because of his Einstein brain , he got promoted twice and dumped on my class , since he was sitting over my head with his grades and certificates shoving it on my face until Alhumdulillah one day he went out of country for further studies because according to the principal a genius like him should explore his intelligence in high level .

" Well I could ask you the same " I cross my arm arrogantly .

" She -" her voice was hesitant .
