-Sapphire's POV-
As we walk toward my tribe, I can see everyone around us is in their beast forms. I look up at Noir who is pratically glued to my side. Scarlet purs and rubs her head against Noir's left shoulder.
'You alright kitten?' Damian mind links me.
'Yes I am. I'm just happy we are doing this together,' I pur.
Noir lets out a soft growl almost like he was trying to pur like Scarlet. We smile and run ahead playing in the snow. Noir runs with us as we throw snow at each other. Flynn, Theo's wolf, comes up to Noir and we see their eyes cloud over indicating they are talking. Noir looks at us then rubs his head against ours.
'Theo doesn't want us playing right now Kitten,' he chukles.
We pout then look at Flynn who is watching my
fathers Elite warriors. We grin and toss some snow at him making him jump.
'Hahaha!' Is all I can hear Damian say.
Flynn narrows his eyes at us, we shrug our shoulders and try to act innocent. Flynn throws some snow at us and we take off running with Noir and Flynn behind us playing in the snow as we cross thr border. Since I didnt have a passport or anything this is the only way to get across. There was to much tension in the air and I had to do something to ease everyones stress even for a little while.
Its been 8-10 hours with some breaks here and there but we finally made it to the edge of my tribes territory.
Looking forward I see a figure running towards us, I get infront of Damian untill I realize who it is.
'Drake!!' I beam rushing towards him tackling him to the ground in a hug.
Turning back to my human form Damian throws me
a thick jacket and boots. I quickly put them on then look at my brother who is smiling big at me.
'Sis its so good to see you, is that him? Your mate?' He signs.
I turn towards Damian who has turned back and looks completely confused.
"Oh my brother cant talk due to a battle wound to his neck," I say pointing to the big scare on Drakes neck.
"Oh I'm sorry its nice to meet you Drake," Damian replies reaching his hand out to shake my brother's.
My brother signs asking me to translate for him.
"Of course I will, he says its nice to meet my sisters mate," I say to Damian.
"Sir please dont commune with this mutt," Elliott growls.
Drake's eyes go black and he grabs Elliott by the throat.
He shoves him against a tree making the ground vibrate underfoot.
"You asked for it dude," I grin as Drake punches Elliott knocking him out.
Drake huffs and drops Elliott then turns back to us with a smile.
"Drake apologizes for Elliott's rudeness," I translate for my brother.
"Hey if you didn't do that, I would have," Damian grins big.
'I like your mate sister,' Drake grins at me as I hug Damian's arm. We proceed toward the castle. All the while Drake was trying to tell embarrassing stories of me to Damian. The other elite warriors escorted Elliott to the tribe healer.
-Theo's POV-
'I cant believe she threw snow at us,' I think to myself as we walk up the mountain behind Damian and Sapphire.
'We had so much fun though,' Flynn chimed in.
'Yeah but still,' I pout.
As we get closer to the castle we start to see small homes that remind us of cottages you'd see at a lake, so we change back and get dressed then continue through the large mountain Tribe they call Star.
I'm suddenly hit with a beautiful scent of fresh spring flowers. I try to resist the urge to follow it but unfortunately I can't help but go ahead of Damian and the rest. Not even hearing their voices I follow the sent to a cute small stone house. I hesitantly knock on the door. The door opens and I'm met with the most beautiful golden eyes and silver hair I have ever seen. He also seem surprised by me as well.
Blush covers my face, "h-hi, my name is-," before I can finish I feel lips on mine and arms wrapped around my neck.
I can't help but kiss him back. His small frame fit in my arms like a glove; like he was made for me. We part to catch our breath as we look deep into each others eyes.
"I'm Ray," he smiles up at me.
"I'm-," I start but suddenly get grabbed from behind.
"Theo!" Damian growls at me.
I lower my head in submission, "very sorry Alpha Damian," I whimper.
I hear a growl come from Ray's direction and I look up to see him baring his large k9 teeth at Damian.
"Let go of my mate!" He shouts.
I look up at Damian who is just as shocked as I was but then is pulled away by Sapphire.
"Why didn't you just tell me Theo? We have been friends for over 10 years yet you couldn't be bothered to at least try and tell me you liked guys,"
He huffs.
I look up at him, "I... I didnt think you'd like me anymore because I was..." I trailed off.
"Theo it doesn't matter to me if you like men or women as long as you are happy. Don't keep things like this from friends alright?" Damian asks.
"Yes Alpha," I replied with tears swelling in my eyes.
"Now go spend some time with your mate and meet us at the castle for dinner. Understand," he says rubbing my head ruffling my hair.
"Yes sir, William," I say turning to my brother, "can you take over for me while I spend some time with my mate?"
"Little bro you dont need to ask of course I will, Ill make sure the Alpha and Luna are safe and if anything is going wrong I'll mind link ya okay?" William smiles at me.
"Okay thanks Will," I beam and hug him before going
back over to Ray.
"So shall we go inside and talk?" I ask before opening the large wooden door for him.
"Well if we can last that long big boy," Ray grins.
I blush as I rush in and close the door behind me.
-Damien's POV-
"Geez you think he couldn't be bothered to try and tell me how he felt?" I grumble to myself.
"I'm sure he wanted to but just didn't know how Damian," Sapphire says holding my arm as we follow behind her brother through the village.
"Ya I should apologize to him when I see him again," I mumble looking away.
I suddenly feel Sapphire's hand on my chest stopping me in my tracks. I look ahead and see an older man with salt and pepper colored hair next to someone I never though I'd see again; Roland. I look down at Sapphire who is glaring at him. I wrap my arms around her waist and glare at Roland.
"Get your hands off my fiancè you dirty mutt!!!" Roland yells storming up to us.
I growl in my Alpha tone and push Sapphire behind me.
"She is my mate!!!" I shout back at him.
"Then she must reject you because she has no choice but to marry me!" He growls.
"No I won't Roland! Damian is my mate and I plan on staying with my mate!" Sapphire hisses hugging my arm.
"Then I challenge this dumb mutt to a duel for your hand," Roland hisses back.
"Dad why are you letting Roland talk to Damian this way? He is our guest and my mate he needs to show some respect!" Sapphire screams at the older man.
"He has a right to you just as much as that dog does..." he sneers at me.
"No he doesn't and I refuse to marry a man who hurts me. Damian hasn once hurt me and even protected me from one of his own pack members!!" She growls.
"I don't care. His pack will not make our tribe stronger but Roland's will!!" He bellows.
I hear a deep growling come from my right side. I see Drake is in Rolands face. Their eyes are black and they look like they are about to transform and tear into each other.
"Hey woah Drake it's ok," I smile lightly as I pull him away from Roland, "we will have a duel and if I win you have to stop pressuing Sapphire."
"And if I win you have to reject her," he snarls.
We shake hands and walk into the large stone castle to get ready for our fight. Sapphire is almost in tears from shouting with her father so I go over and hug
her tightly.
"Its ok, kitten. I wont let him have you," I kiss the top of her head.
"Just kick his ass and if you have to kill him, I'm sure you'll be doing his tribe a great deed,” she grumbles.
We head up to her old room and put our bags down. Hearing a knock on the door I open it to a woman with caramel brown hair and green and brown eyes.
"Ah you must be Damian," she smiles at me.
"Yes and you are?" I ask raising an eye brow.
Sapphire suddenly runs out of the room tackling the poor women.
"Rose!!" She squeaks.
"Never mind. Sapphire just answered for me hah," I grin as I watch them hug each other on the floor with tears in their eyes.
